Norwich Pride - Saturday 27th July

Norwich Pride is an annual celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community, and turns Norwich into one giant rainbow! The event is free to attend, with hundreds of stalls and plenty of performances on numerous stages, making sure there's something for everyone.

All of our Network Norwich services stop in the city centre, but bear in mind there will be some road closures on the day so make sure you check before you travel.

 

Ipswich Beer & Cider Festival - 25th to 28th July

It’s the 34th year of this annual event celebrating beer and cider in Ipswich, and it's taking place at St Clement’s Arts Centre. Visitors to this ticketed event can enjoy more than 100 real ales, craft beers and ciders on offer at this Campaign for Real Ale event.

Get there by bus! All of our Ipswich Reds services stop within walking distance of the venue.

 

Beccles Carnival - 17th and 18th August

Dating back to the 19th century, Beccles Carnival weekend is back during the third weekend of August. Entry is £2 for adults, and £1 for children, and is sure to bring the community together for an affordable family event in this historic Suffolk town.

Our Coastlink X2/X21/X22 services all serve the town centre.

Summer Sundays at the Bandstand

This is a FREE weekly live music event held at the Pavilion Bandstand in Gorleston every Sunday from until the 1st of September.

You'll be able to hire a deckchair, enjoy drinks out in the gardens and even free Punch & Judy shows in the Summer Holiday weeks. There's also plenty of places to eat around the gardens and of course the beautiful Gorleston beach a stones throw away.

From brass bands to ukulele bands, there really is something for everyone to enjoy!

Most of our Great Yarmouth town buses serve Gorleston High Street.

Norwich Summer Sessions - FREE live music & entertainment

Norwich Summer Sessions is back in 2024 for another year of free summer street entertainment across Norwich!

While you’re out and about in the city, expect open air music and performance with a variety of musical genres, comedy, theatre and more. Immerse yourself in a lively and entertaining atmosphere where all ages can enjoy a packed programme of live performances.

The festival brought to you in partnership with NORCA will be running on selected dates throughout July – August in four locations:

11th – 25th July: Thursday evenings 4pm – 8pm
4th – 25th August:  Sunday afternoons 12:30pm – 4.30pm

Stages are Westlegate, (sponosored by Kuoni Travel) London Street, (sponsored by Hansells Solicitors) Gentleman’s Walk (sponsored by Beryl) and St Gregory’s Green (sponsored by Grosvenor Fish Bar).

Lunchtime Concerts at Great Yarmouth Minster

Twelve lunchtime concerts throughout the summer will start at 12:30 at the Great Yarmouth Minster. Admission is FREE, but if you wish to donate, all proceeds raised will go to the Organ Restoration Project.

All our Great Yarmouth town buses stop within walking distance of the Minster, but the 1/1A, 7, and 8 all stop right outside.
