Ipswich Twilight 10K Run will be taking place again this year on Friday 26th July 2024. There will be numerous road closures around the town centre from 1830hrs , until completion of the race.
The following services will be affected during this time;
Service 800 Park and Ride
From London Road follow usual route to West End Road, then via Handford Road, Civic Drive, Crown Street and then to Woodbridge Rd to resume usual route.
From Martlesham follow usual route to Tower Ramparts then continue along Crown Street turning left on to Civic Drive and right on to Handford Road to resume route at end of West End Road.
Service 64
From Aldeburgh follow usual route to St Helen’s Street, then via Grimwade Street, Fore Street, Key Street, College Street, Star Lane, Turret Lane to OCM.
Service 66
From Martlesham (18:25, 18:55, 19:30, 20:00) usual route to St Helen’s Street, then via Grimwade Street, Fore Street, Key Street, College Street, Star Lane, Turret Lane to OCM; then Turret Lane, Star Lane, Lower Orwell Street, Key Street, College Street, Grafton Way, Commercial Road, Princes Street to the Rail Station
From Rail Station via Burrell Road towards Stoke Bridge, Bridge Street, Novotel Roundabout, Star Lane Turret Lane, OCM. Then via Turret Lane, Star Lane, Waterworks Street, Bond Street and St Margaret’s Street to Woodbridge Road, then as normal.
Services 75 & 77
From Felixstowe usual route to St Helen’s Street, then via Grimwade Street, Fore Street, Key Street, College Street, Star Lane, Turret Lane to OCM.
From OCM – from OCM via Turret Lane, Star Lane, Waterworks Street, Bond Street, and St Margaret’s Street to Woodbridge Road, then as normal.
Service 88
From Stowmarket usual route to Norwich Road, St Matthews Street, Civic Drive, Handford Road, Ranelagh Road, Burrell Road, Bridge Street, Star Lane, Turret Lane to OCM.
