Bungay & Halesworth services - 15/04/25
Following further discussions with Suffolk County Council, these works are postponed until the other road closures have been lifted. Services will operate normal route and normal vehicles.
Due to a combination of road closures on Chaucer Street in Bungay & Flixton Road between Bungay & Homersfield, our Charcoal Line 41/41A/X41 services will be altered on Tuesday 15th April. We are currently expecting both closures to be in place all day.
Services from Norwich to Bungay & Halesworth will operate as normal, serving all normal stops at the regular scheduled times.
Services from Halesworth & Bungay to Norwich will operate normal route into Bungay Town Centre, continuing to serve the main Butter Cross/St Marys Street stop - but will then operate via Earsham Dam to access the A143 and join normal route in Ditchingham. As a result, we will not be able to serve the Green Dragon stop towards Norwich.
All Charcoal Line services will be operated by smaller, single deck buses to enable us to use this diversion route - we apologise for any discomfort this may cause as overcrowding is possible.
We will update further if our diversion route changes, or if Chaucer Street reopens earlier than we expected.
We apologise for any inconvenience, delay or discomfort this closure may cause to your journey, however Suffolk County Council oversee the issuing of roadworks permits and we are only able to work around them using the roads that are open & suitable for us to use.
A47 Postwick-Great Yarmouth (7/X1)

Affected services will operate via South Walsham Road, Salhouse & Postwick Interchange in both directions. The regular stops in Acle will continue to be served.
Acle Straight - 17th March to 18th April:
Affected services will operate via Filby & Fleggburgh, apart from Monday 24th March to Friday 28th March - where they will be escorted through the closure due to sewer works in Filby.
We apologise for any inconvenience & delay this may cause to your journey.
