Effective10/11/2024 - 10/11/2024
Owing to Remembrance Sunday Parades across the First Eastern Counties network, some of our services will be subject to disruption on Sunday 10th November.
Attleborough |
The 10:00 service from Norwich City Centre will terminate outside The Mulberry Pub. |
---|---|
Bungay | The 13:20 from Norwich City Centre is expected to arrive into Bungay later than normal, but will not need to take any diversion routes. All services towards Norwich will operate as normal. |
Dereham |
Between 10:15 & 12:00 - we will not be able to serve the Market Place, St Nicholas Street, Sandy Lane or Chestnut Road within Dereham. |
Loddon | The 10:20 X21 & 10:50 X21 services from Norwich, and the 10:20 X21 service from Lowestoft will need to remain on the A146, omitting Loddon & Chedgrave. All other services are unaffected. |
Norwich City Centre |
There will be two parades - the first one between 09:15 & 09:45 will mean that the following services will not be able to serve Castle Meadow. The second parade will begin at 11am - but will be rolling road closures so we expect minimal delays to our services. |
Wymondham | This event will be taking place in & around Wymondham Cross - as a result between 13:45 & 15:30, our 13/14A services will only be operating from the stops at The Chestnuts on Avenue Road. |
Thorpe St Andrew | This event will be taking place on Yarmouth Road between Harvey Lane & Thunder Lane, from 10:00 to 13:15. During this time, affected 14A/15 services will operate via Harvey Lane, Heartsease Roundabout & the ring road, resuming normal routes at Thorpe St Andrew Sainsburys. |
Caister (delays only) | We are expecting some delays as a rolling road closure will be in place between 10:55 & 11:15 - all services will continue to operate their normal route and will simply wait for the road to reopen. |
Please remember that we're offering free bus travel to the Armed Forces community, serving troops, veterans, and cadets on Remembrance Sunday and Remembrance Day (Sunday 10th November and Monday 11th November). Please find out more here.
Finally, our drivers may pull over to observe the two-minute silence at 11am as a mark of respect - your understanding would be appreciated during this time.
