Westerleigh Road, Yate is closed as of Friday 20th April for roadworks. 

The road is due to re-open over the weekend and then works will continue again on Monday for another few days.

The Y1 coming from Yate Shopping Centre towards Chipping Sodbury will turn right onto Rodford Way and serve the Pitchcombe bus stop, then turn around on the roundabout and go back along Rodford Way to resume normal route at the Shire Way junction.

The Catbrain Lane stop on Cribbs Causeway (road named Cribbs Causeway) served by routes 1, 2, 3, 4 and 76 towards Cribbs Causeway is closed until 12th May due to roadworks. The nearest alternative stop is the The Venue stop one further along.

The stop on the other side of the road serving buses towards Bristol City Centre from Cribbs Causeway is not affected.

Rosehill roundabout will be closed in all directions nightly from 19:00 to 0500 from 02 May to 14 May Monday to Friday only.

Service 12 heading to Heathryfold
From Hilton Drive:
• continue along Hilton Drive
• cross over Anderson Drive and onto the new link road
• left onto Manor Avenue
• right onto Provost Rust Drive and resume normal route

Belland Drive, Rookery Farm, Thursday 20th April

Service 92 towards Hengrove Park will be unable to serve the stops at Belland Drive on 20th April, and will stay on the main road (Whitchurch Lane) instead. Buses will drop off in a safe location instead.

Buses towards Bristol City Centre do not serve these stops and so will be unaffected.

Downend Road between Fishponds and Downed

Downend Road between Fishponds and Downend has been closed until further notice, due to emergency road works. 

Service 48 heading from the City Centre to Downend and Emersons Green will turn right at the Cross Hands and then follow the 49 route to Staple Hill. At the Portcullis, they will turn left onto Victoria Street and resume normal route at Downend Horseshoe. 

East Hanningfield Road, Rettendon, Chelmsford is closed, in both directions, for scheduled roadworks taking place Tuesday 18th April - Tuesday 25th April 2023.

Service 3 will therefore divert (in both directions) via Main Road/Southend Road.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Due to St Agnes Bolster Festival from Saturday the 29th of April to Sunday the 30th of April, from 12:00 to 14:30, buses will be unable to St Agnus.

This will affect the following U1A services.

During the above times, buses will be diverting as follows:

We'll be running to Sunday bus times on May Day Bank Holiday - Monday 1st May 2023.

Normal services will operate at all other times.

Bethesda Street (outside the courts) is due to close in both directions for resurfacing works to take place from 1900 on Wednesday 19 April until 0300 the next morning.

During the closure, all services leaving the bus station will use John Street as usual, turn right onto Bethesda Street (past the Potteries Museum) 

Services 3, 3A, 4,4A, 7,7A, 18 & 8 will proceed straight ahead.

Services 11, 6, 6A, 101, 25, 21, 23 will divert via Broad Street and Potteries Way.

Buses coming into the Bus Station will divert via Lichfield Street (Stand Y)
