Canklow Bridge has now reopened and 73, 95 & 207 services back to regular routes

Canklow Bridge has been closed by police.

First Bus has established a pioneering social value partnership with Fortus Foundation, a hub supporting communities in York and the wider region, to help spread its message and encourage business donor support to fund the charity’s assistance for education, employment and social equality.

The initiative is also supported by Global, the company responsible for managing all advertising on the exterior of the First Bus fleet.

Shearbridge Road / Listerhills Road - Multi-way signals reported to be manually operated and tailbacks reducing and congestion is easing.

Service 636, 637 returning to normal route.

Multi-way signals at Listerhills Road currently stuck on the red, are causing further congestion and delays.

Beech Road Armthorpe

15th of September to 19th of Sepemtber

Due to the closure of Beech Road in Armthorpe, services to divert as below:

Service 383 will divert via Beech Road / Briar Road / Mere Lane & Church Street resuming normal route on Hatfield Lane

Service 481 & 481a will operate via Beech Road / Church Street & Mill Street in both directions

We are unable to serve Newstead Estate currently due to a Fallen Tree on Barlaston Road. There is a police road closure in place.

Currently diverting via Ripon Road, Church Road and around Finstock Avenue.
