We take account of the environmental impact of what we do at the earliest stage of planning and monitor our impacts to help us to continually improve our performance. This is reflected in our Environmental Management System being certified to ISO14001 since 2007.Certificate No. 21828-EMS-051

Carbon Reduction Plan

First Bus has developed a Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP) in accordance with PPN 06/21 (Procurement Policy Note) for central Government contracts over £5 million per annum, as published by the Cabinet Office in June 2021. Our CRP is a summary of how we measure our carbon emissions and plan to reduce them in line with the UK's 2050 Net Zero goals and is reviewed and updated annually in line with our published Annual Report and Accounts / Environmental Performance Report.
