We're making some improvements to our bus network in November.

From Sunday 3rd November 2024, we will be introducing changes to routes in Basildon, Chelmsford and Colchester.

Here are the key details:

Due to a Police road closure, we are unable to access West Street. 

Services from the interchange are to turn Right at the RB onto Cleveland Street, Right St Sepulchre Gate West to continue normal route.

**Update - Road reopen, services back to usual route**

Road traffic collision at Selby Road.

Services affected: 19A, 40

Diversions as follows, until further notice:

19A services:
following 19 Route through Templegates, in both directions. 
 

40 towards Leeds Rail Station:
Diversion via Austhorpe Road, Station Road, Crossgates Road and York Road.

All Doncaster Services.

Due to an ongoing police incident at Doncaster Railway Station, Trafford Way and surrounding roads are heavily congested. 

There will be severe delays and short-notice cancellations on all Doncaster Services.
 

Spring Mill Street, West Bowling road is currently blocked due to a road traffic collision.

Service 671 to divert via Bowling Old Lane (both ways).

Road Closure Bamfield, Whitchurch (M1)

 09:00 - 16:00 25th October 2024

Due to Carriageway works, Bamfield will be closed to Northbound traffic (from Whitchurch to Hengrove) from 09:00 until 16:00 on the 25th of October for one day.

Service M1 will divert to head from Whitchurch Lane to Hengrove Way to resume normal route at Creswicke Road.

Regrettably Alverstoke, Thurlstone and Paddock Garden Stops will not be served during the closure.

Due to the Leeds Light Night event, Bishopgate Street is closed. 

Taking place on the 24th and 25th of October from 18.00 until the end of service.

Services affected: 7 / 7A / 7S

Services diverted as follows: 

7 towards Primley Park: 
Starting service from Vicar Lane Stop L

7 towards Boar Lane: 
Terminating at Vicar Lane Stop M

Service 59 is diverted Via the Rail Station, Holgate Road and Poppleton Road in both directions due to an incident at Water End.

This service is unable to serve Leeman Road until further notice.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

UPDATE:

Services have now resumed their normal route.

Services 2 / 3 / 3A / 24 diverting due to the closure of Dewsbury Road, 03.30 - 06.30, 4th November for Yorkshire Water works.

2/3/3A: 

To Midd/White Rose via Meadow Lane, left, via 12 route to Church Street, straight at Balm Road junction, Church Street, Beza Street, 3rd exit RBT Tunstall Road, left Dewsbury Road. 

To Leeds via the normal route. 

24: 
To Beeston via Dewsbury Road, right-hand lane M621 signed Manchester, exit junction 2, left Elland Road, right Cemetery Road, right Beeston Road.
