We’re making improvements to our Slough bus network to give you more options and better connections. From Sunday 7 December 2025, some of our key services will be changing.
Here’s what’s happening:
The 7 and new 7x service
Service X11 | Thornton Road and Leeds Old Road | Delays
Due to increasing traffic congestion and queuing traffic on Thornton Road and Leeds Old Road.
Service X11 is experiencing delays of up to 35 minutes.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Service X3 | Fitzwilliam Road | Disruption
Due to a broken down car causing Standstill traffic (police are in attendance) on Fitzwilliam Road, services to divert as follows:
Battlesbridge Bypass (A1245) is closed for overnight roadworks (20:00 - 05:00) from 24/11/2025 to 06/12/2025.
Due to the location of the road closure, the X30 service will divert in both directions via the A129, A1245 and A130.
The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:
To allow for replacement light maintenance, Gorbals Street/Victoria Bridge will be closed on Monday, 17th November until Friday, 21st November between 20:00 and 06:00 each night.
Due to a road closure, the services are being diverted:
service 3,60 and M60 toward Drumchapel shops.
Diverting via Kinfauns Drive, Black Craig Ave, Linkwood Drive, Kinfauns Drive and normal Route.

Due to a breakdown at Midland Street at Oswald Street, the services are diverting:
Service 1,1A,1C 1E X4 towards City,
Diverting via Broomielaw, continue Clyde Street, left Stockwell Street, right Howard Street and normal route.
Service 38's, 57,57A and 10,
Langsett Avenue has been closed by unannounced Northern Powergrid works.
Services to operate via Oughtbridge, Langsett Road & Middlewood Road to the top of Langsett Avenue.
A B&M HGV is currently stuck under Hady Hill railway bridge. The service is diverting
OUTBOUND services are diverting via The crematorium, Spital Lane, Hasland Road, The A617, The Horns Bridge, The A617, Lordsmill roundabout, Markham Road.
