Services 8 & 75

Ashfield Street

To allow for resurfacing works on Friday 16th September 06:30hrs until Saturday 17th September at 08:00hrs Ashfield Street will be closed.

During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:

On Tuesday 20 September a bus stop in New Road will be closed for road works. The stop is called New Road and it's the first stop eastbound. Please use an alternative stop for one day only. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Due to Wellington Carnival, the following service alterations will be made.

Service 22 will NOT serve Rockwell Green after 1400 hours and will terminate at Wellington High Street.

Service X22 from 1400 will divert via the A38 between Cheslton and Beambridge and will NOT serve Wellington or Rockwell Green.

ALL Services from 1900 hours will terminate at Cades Farm Roundabout.

First Bus has sold its First Scotland East business and all its routes in the area to McGill’s Group: www.mcgillsscotlandeast.co.uk

The sale includes all First Bus depots in Livingston, Larbert, Bannockburn and Balfron, as well as the Edinburgh open-top bus operation Bright Bus Tours. It also includes all buses which currently operate in the region.

From Sunday 25th September, bus operator First West of England is launching cheaper single and return fares across its Bath and Bristol services as part of a wider set of changes to reflect changing travel patterns and make fares fairer for all – from children to professionals.

On the Bank Holiday for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II, Monday 19 September, we’ll be operating a Sunday service across all First Eastern Counties networks.
