Yes, you can still buy a ticket from your driver and pay with your contactless card or device, but we recommend Tap On, Tap Off as the quickest and simplest way to pay.
Yes, you can! Just click here to view your payment history and travel receipts.
Yes, your ticket will be valid until it expires. If you have an annual ticket, you can contact customer services to swap your ticket to cover all of the First Cymru network at no extra cost.
Yes, you'll have 365 days from the date of purchase to use your flexi 5 ticket. But keep in mind that it will only be valid on the original zone that it was bought for. For example, a "Swansea Bay Flexi 5" would only remain valid in the Swansea Bay area from 31st March.
You can buy a bundle of 5 day tickets, which will now be called the '5 in 30' and this has to be used over a 30 day period from when you active your first day ticket.

These will no longer be available for purchase from 31st March 2024. But there are still a variety of bundle tickets available at reduced prices for children and mytravelpass users.
We’ve simplified our ticket range and as a result, the 'Pembrokeshire School' ticket will not be available for purchase.
But, customers aged 5-15 get discounted bus travel. And customers aged 16-21 can use a free mytravelpass to purchase discounted tickets on all First Cymru services.

Only Welsh Concessionary Travel Cards issued by Transport for Wales are valid on local bus services in Wales.
Unfortunately we are unable to offer free or discounted travel to concessionary bus pass holders from other parts of the UK.

Week tickets are valid for 7 consecutive days from the day of purchase if you buy from your driver, or 7 days from the day of activation if you buy on the First Bus app.
Month tickets allow unlimited travel on the First Cymru network for a whole month.
This means that if a ticket is bought on the 10th of the month, it will expire on the 9th of the following month.
Our range of student fares will not be changing. Remember if you're using mytravelpass then you can access our new range of simplified tickets too!
Our range of day ticket bundles are perfect if you want flexibility and value in your bus travel. Just need 3 days’ travel in a week or maybe you only use the bus Monday to Friday? However you travel, we’ve got the ticket to suit you!
When you’re travelling across 3 or 5 consecutive days, you can get a 3 Day or 5 Day ticket from your driver that’ll save you money compared to buying three day tickets, or a week ticket.
Or for added flexibility, our day bundles on the First Bus app give you 3, 5, or 20 days of travel that can be spread over longer periods. Just activate each ticket in the app on the day you need it, making sure you use them all before your bundle expires.
Only people that hold a valid mytravelpass that features their photo.
Anyone living in Wales aged 16 to 21 can apply for a free mytravelpass. You should have a permanent address in Wales or attend full time education in Wales. Only the person to whom the card is registered to and whose photograph appears on the card is able to use mytravelpass.
If anyone else attempts to use the card then this will be considered as fraud and the card will be cancelled. You may also face the risk of prosecution.
We will accept South Wales Transport College passes until 31st July 2024. We will post a further update soon regarding ticket acceptance after 31st July 2024.
