Para Sports Festival

13 July

The Para Sport Festival will be coordinated by Disability Sport Wales and developed and delivered by a network of key stakeholders, including Welsh National Governing and/or British Governing Bodies of sport, Swansea Council, and local insport clubs, aiming to deliver high quality accessible opportunities for disabled children, young people, and adults.

World Triathlon Para Series Swansea

15 July

Swansea will welcome the world's best paratriathletes to the city on 15 July 2023 just a week after PTVI paratriathletes from across the Commonwealth have competed at Birmingham 2022. The elites will be joined by up-and-coming athletes on the British Para Super Series, spectators and entrants for a participation para-aquathlon event at the Prince of Wales Dock.

Ministry of Sound Classical

22 July

An orchestral show celebrating the biggest dance anthems of all time, featuring special guests Roger Sanches, K-Klass & Big Al. This ain't no DJ set! Ministry of Sound takes on the very best tunes hand picked from dance music history and recreated in a breath-taking orchestral performance by an incredible 30-piece orchestra.

Archaeology Fun Day

22 July

Gower Unearthed, a local organisation that promotes the heritage and culture of the Gower Peninsula, will be on hand to guide you through a young archaeologists' trial dig and other family activities. You will have the chance to learn how to excavate, record and identify artefacts. Plus there will be opportunities to join in workshops making Roman jewellery, stone carving and learning new skills making prehistoric tools.

The Edge Festival

29 July

Overlooking the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, in the delightful village of Solva, The Edge Festival is a three-day music and arts extravaganza. As a celebration of Arts, Music, Food, Sport, Film and Literature, there is something for everyone at The Edge.

Outdoor Theatre

9 August

Multi-award nominated Immersion Theatre have developed a reputation for producing first class, fast-paced, and highly accessible adaptations of Shakespeare's plays. Summer 2023 will see audiences treated to laugh-a-minute adaptation of Shakespeare's whirlwind comedy of mistaken identity, music, and of course, the mayhem of love!

Between the Trees Festival

25 August

Between the Trees at Merthyr Mawr National Nature Reserve in South Wales offers indie folk music, art, spoken word, and nature talks. Held on a 100-acre woodland site near the UK's largest sand dunes and the sea, it features diverse music and a literary lineup supported by Literature Wales and Seren Book Publishers.

Oystermouth Castle Princes and Princesses Day

28 August

Once upon a time, in a castle far, far away... Join us at Oystermouth Castle for a magical day when the stories told switch from those of medieval lords and ladies to those of fairy-tale princes and princesses.

Why not dress up? You'll be in good company with our own princes and princesses walking around meeting and greeting everyone, and there'll be plenty of music and storytelling to add to the wonderful atmosphere.

Ironman Wales

3 September

A sunrise swim, a rugged coastal bike ride and a run through the atmospheric town-centre of Tenby. Are you ready for the iconic Ironman, Wales? With a 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike ride and 26.2-mile run (yep – that’s a full marathon!) to finish, this Pembrokeshire event is not for the faint-hearted.

Swansea Bay 10k

17 September

The Swansea Bay 10k returns for its 42nd race on 17 September 2023, and takes place along the beautiful and iconic sweep of Swansea Bay! Open to all abilities aged 15+, the course is a firm favourite with both experienced and first time runners, as the fast and flat course is a perfect introduction to road running, and perfect for improving your personal best.

Porthcawl Elvis Fest

21 September

Elvis fans will gather in Porthcawl this September for a special celebration of The King. With competitions, live acts, and dedicated events, the town becomes the largest Elvis event in Europe. The Grand Pavilion, a well-preserved 1930s dancehall theatre, hosts the official shows, while the Fringe Festival spans over twenty venues, including The Hi Tide with over 100 shows, many of which are free.
