1st April 2024 Service Changes

We're making some changes to our bus network this April to make it more punctual. We are also introducing a raft of new services as a result of winning numerous tenders from local authorities.
April also brings simplified fares and the introduction of Tap On, Tap Off on our entire network too!
Please remember that Easter service variations will be in place from Friday, 29th March to Monday, 1st April. As a result some services will operate differently on Monday 1st April (Easter Monday) than they will on Sunday 31st March (Easter Sunday), even though both days will be operating to a sunday timetable. There is more information on the drop-down box below.

New service: The service 322 will be operated by First Cymru from 01 April 2024 as a result of winning tenders issued by Pembrokeshire County Council. Prior to this date, the service 322 was operated by a different bus company.
Overview of service: The service 322 connects Haverfordwest to Glangwili via Carmarthen Bus Station. It will operate every 3 hours, 3 times a day.

Increased frequency: Service 349 will operate every 60 minutes (Mon-Sat) instead of every 90 minutes (Mon-Sat) from 01 April 2024.

Revised timetable: The service 356 timetable will be revised from 01 April 2024 to aid punctuality.
Revised route: Following a public consultation by Pembrokeshire County Council, the service 356 will no longer serve Waterston and Hazelbeach from 01 April 2024. These areas will instead be served by a Fflecsi service operated by Pembrokeshire County Council.

New service: The service 381 will be operated by First Cymru from 01 April 2024 as a result of winning tenders issued by Pembrokeshire County Council. Prior to this date, the service 381 was operated by a different bus company.
Overview of service: The service 381 connects Haverfordwest to Tenby via Narberth and Saundersfoot. It will operate every 60 minutes (Mon-Sat).

Revised timetable: The sunday service 38 will be restored from 01 April 2024. It will operate every 60 minutes.

Revised timetable: The service X1 timetable will be revised from 01 April 2024 to aid punctuality.
Revised route: Following customer feedback the service X1 will operate via Neath Port Talbot Hospital in both directions from 01 April 2024. This means that the following stops will not be served by the service X1 from 01 April 2024: Pentyla, The Elms, Dinas Baglan Road, Islwyn, The Nurseries, St Catherine`s Church, Sunnycroft Roundabout.

Revised timetable: Two additional morning trips will be introduced, starting at 06:20 and 07:20 at Ystradgynlais Bus Station, from 01 April 2024.
Revised route: Following customer feedback and discussions with Neath Port Talbot Council, the service X6 will once again operate via Farteg. From 01 April 2024 an outbound journey that operates via Panteg will return (inbound) via Farteg and vice versa. Effectively alternating service between Panteg and Farteg every hour.

Neath Port Talbot College has advised us that the timetable will remain unchanged. They have also advised us that any Neath Port Talbot College Term/Year passes that were purchased from First Cymru will be accepted by the new bus company.

Revised route: All trips will operate from Bridgend to Porthcawl only from 01 April 2024. No trips will continue to Talbot Green. A new service 64 (please see below) will be introduced from 01 April 2024 to provide an hourly service between Bridgend and Talbot Green.
