Yarmouth Road (Greens/7/31/33A)

The previously delayed resurfacing works on the Blue Boar Tesco stop have now been scheduled for the afternoon of Sunday 28th July, from 16:00 onwards.

During this time, services will remain on the main road, as no temporary stop within the Tesco grounds has been provided.

Due to a village sports day taking place on White Horse Lane in Trowse, service 40A will need to divert between 09:30 & 18:00 on Saturday 27th July 2024.

We won't be able to serve Trowse during this closure - services will operate via the B1332 & Arminghall Lane to join normal route.

From 07:30 on Wednesday 24th July to Friday 26th July, Yarmouth Road will be closed between Harvey Lane & Thunder Lane for Anglian Water works.

All Green Line services and the 7 & 33A in both directions will divert via Harvey Lane, Heartsease Roundabout & the ring road to pick up normal routes at Thorpe Sainsburys.

Due to UKPN work taking place on South Park Avenue, by the junction with Colman Road, Blue Line 25 & early morning 31 will need to take a diversion route from Monday 22nd July to Friday 26th July.

Services in both directions will operate via Colman Road & The Avenues - they will not serve Bluebell Road or South Park Avenue.

Our Pink Line 10 service will be able to operate normal route - to provide a service for Eaton & South Park Avenue through this closure.

Due to fibre works taking place on Post Office Road in Lingwood, the road will be closed from Monday 22nd July to Friday 26th July.

We have negotiated access through the closure on the eastern side of Post Office Road for us to operate our normal diversion route for these closures - services will operate normal route to the terminus, but will then turn around using Post Office Road/Vicrage Road/School Road and head back to Norwich along Station Road.

Post Office Road & Chapel Road will not be served during this closure.

Due to resurfacing works closing the entire Bowthorpe Road/Guardian Road junction each night from 19:00 to 07:00 from Monday 22nd July to Sunday 28th July - evening & certain morning 21 journeys will need to divert.

From Norwich, services will omit the left turn onto Bowthorpe Road, continuing along Dereham Road, turning into Larkman Lane. They will then operate via Earlham Green Lane to join normal route at Hutchinson Road.

Stops along the whole length of Bowthorpe Road will not be served by services affected by this closure.

Due to footway reconstruction work taking place on Bluebell Road between Fiveways & The Avenues from Monday 22nd July to Friday 23rd August – the normal evening route into the UEA that we use after 19:00 won't be available.

Evening services will operate the daytime route directly into University Drive and terminate there.

Church Road Old Felixstowe will be closed for Cadent Gas Works Monday 29th July 2024 to Tuesday 6th August 2024. 

Service 73 towards Ipswich will therefore be unable to serve Church Road, Coleneis Road or Rosemary Avenue and will be diverted via High Road East.

Beatrice Avenue Felixstowe will be closed for Gas Main Works Wednesday 31st July 2024 to Wednesday 14th August 2024. 

Service 73 will therefore be diverted via High Road east in both directions and will be unable to serve Coleneis Road or Beatrice Avenue.

Ipswich Twilight 10K Run will be taking place again this year on Friday 26th July 2024. There will be numerous road closures around the town centre from 1830hrs , until completion of the race. 

The following services will be affected during this time; 

Service 800 Park and Ride

From London Road follow usual route to West End Road, then via Handford Road, Civic Drive, Crown Street and then to Woodbridge Rd to resume usual route.

From Martlesham  follow usual route to Tower Ramparts then continue along Crown Street turning left on to Civic Drive and right on to Handford Road to resume route at end of West End Road.

Service 64

From Aldeburgh  follow usual route to St Helen’s Street, then via Grimwade Street, Fore Street, Key Street, College Street, Star Lane, Turret Lane to OCM.

Service 66

From Martlesham (18:25, 18:55, 19:30, 20:00) usual route to St Helen’s Street, then via Grimwade Street, Fore Street, Key Street, College Street, Star Lane, Turret Lane to OCM; then Turret Lane, Star Lane, Lower Orwell Street, Key Street, College Street, Grafton Way, Commercial Road, Princes Street to the Rail Station

From Rail Station  via Burrell Road towards Stoke Bridge, Bridge Street, Novotel Roundabout, Star Lane Turret Lane, OCM. Then via Turret Lane, Star Lane, Waterworks Street, Bond Street and St Margaret’s Street to Woodbridge Road, then as normal.

Services 75 & 77

From Felixstowe  usual route to St Helen’s Street, then via Grimwade Street, Fore Street, Key Street, College Street, Star Lane, Turret Lane to OCM.

From OCM –  from OCM via Turret Lane, Star Lane, Waterworks Street, Bond Street, and St Margaret’s Street to Woodbridge Road, then as normal.

Service 88

From Stowmarket usual route to Norwich Road, St Matthews Street, Civic Drive, Handford Road, Ranelagh Road, Burrell Road, Bridge Street, Star Lane, Turret Lane to OCM.
