Savernake Road, Chelmsford is closed for roadworks from 02/03/2026 to 05/03/2026. 

Due to the location of the roadworks - the C4 will be placed on diversion:

Towards Chelmsford City Centre: Normal line of route. All bus stops served.

Towards Writtle: The C4 will divert via Forest Drive, Waterhouse Lane and Writtle Road.

The following bus stops will not be served:

Highfield Road Idle blocked by road traffic collision.
Service 612 to divert as below in both directions

Maldon Road & The Street, Latchingdon is closed for roadworks from 27/02/2026 to 03/03/2026.

*This is a timed road closure: the road will be closed between 20:00hrs and 05:00hrs*

Due to the location of the road closure - the 31 and 332 services will be placed on diversion:

The 31 will divert in both directions via Burnham Road, Fambridge Road, B1010 and Summerhill/Burnham Road.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

Service 6 | Tang Hall Lane

Tuesday 24th Feb: Tang Hall Lane closed at junction with Temple Avenue 09:30-14:30 during urgent highway maintenance works.

Diversion for service 6 will be via Melrosegate, Hull Road and Tang Hall Lane, not serving Alcuin Avenue.
