Hawthorn Avenue, Colchester is closed for roadworks, on a daily basis, from Monday 28th April to Friday 2nd May 2025.
The road is to be closed from 09:30hrs each morning and is to re-open from 14:30hrs each afternoon.
Due to the location of the road closure - the 54 service will divert via Hawthorn Avenue, Bromley Road and Longridge.

Due to a partial road closure in Brockhurst Road, route E2, will be diverted as follows:

On the 24th April at 7pm the road will be shut until 5am on the 25th April for emergency Gas Works.
Service 2 will divert away from this area Via Goldsmith Avenue, Fratton Way and Rodney Road in both directions.

Bus Stop Closure St Luke's Church, Portsmouth.
Works to upgrade the bus stop are planned to start from 6 May 2025, and are expected to take 5 days and 1 night to complete (excluding weekend working).
The majority of works will take place in the day between the hours of 7:30am-4:00pm, however there will be overnight lining works Tuesday 13 May, between 6:00pm-10:00pm, in line with the noise restriction levels for Portsmouth City Council regulations.
