First Essex is thrilled to announce its free Pride bus shuttle service, returning for the Basildon Pride Festival on Saturday 7th September 2024. This special service will operate every 20 minutes, transporting attendees from the Temp stand opposite Basildon Bus Station (next to the railway line) directly to the vibrant festival site.
On Saturday 27 August a Pride event will be taking place in Southampton City Centre. Commercial Road and Above bar will be closed for the day with Services 2 & 3 diverting via Civic Centre and Havelock Road & Service 7 diverting via New Road and East Park Terrace.
A number of roads will be closed for a parade and most buses will be diverted between 10:30 and 15:00. Below is a list of diversions:-

A bus stop on Weston Lane will be closed from the 23 to the 26 August 2022. The stop is Barnfield Road (opposite the coop). A temporary bus stop will be supplied by the contractor nearby. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
