Change to RA1 timetable (Reading to Heathrow) from Sunday 4 September 2022
From Sunday 4 September, a half-hourly timetable will operate all days of the week and the overall timetable will have a slight tweak to aid punctuality.
A new journey at 0246 will be introduced from Reading, running via Twyford and Maidenhead Railway Station to Bray Wick and then onto Heathrow Airport.
Dubford Road will be closed between Dubford Crescent and Dubford Rise from 04:00 on 29 Aug until 17:00 on 11 Sept Monday to Friday only.
Services will divert via Seaview Drive in both directions.
Service 1B/8/8A from City Centre to Dubford
From the top of Greenbrae Drive:
• continue along Dubford Road
• right into Seaview Drive
• right onto Dubford Road
• resume normal route.
King Street will be one-way between Seaforth Road and West North Street from 07:30 on 28 Aug until 18:00 on 28 Aug.
Then a full closure from 18:00 on 28 Aug until 06:00 on 29 Aug in both directions.
From 07:30 on 28 Aug until 06:00 on 29 Aug
Service 1,1B,2 heading to Bridge of Don
At the junction of King Street and West North Street:
• left onto West North Street
• 4th exit onto Mounthooly Way
• left onto King Street
• continue normal route
Stronsay Drive will be one-way heading to Scatterburn only from 07:00 on 29 August until 17:00 on 06 November
Service 13 heading to Scatterburn
• Normal route
Service 13 heading from Scatterburn to Seaton Golf Links
From Lang Stracht:
• right into Summerhill Drive
• resume normal route

Due to roadworks taking place between 22nd August to 4th September a section of St. Margaret's Cross road will be subject to closure.
Service 81/81A will divert as follows:
Towards Dedham - divert via Park Lane, Wick Road, Birchwood Road and then return to normal line of route.
Towards Colchester - divert after the A12 via Wick Road, Park Lane, Langham Lane and then return to normal line of route.

On the 17 August 2022 Southern water were called to Windermere Avenue near to the stops at Ullsewater Road to fix a manhole cover. The road will have traffic lights for up to one week and these two bus stops will be closed for the duration. Please use an alternative stop. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused during these works.
