From Sunday the 12th of May to Tuesday the 14th of May, there will be an overnight closure along East Street Newquay between the hours of 19:00 and 07:00.

This will affect service 91, T3, U1, U1E, and Atlantic Coaster.

UK Power Networks are carrying out overhead cabling works on Basildon Drive, Basildon from Tuesday 7th May to Thursday 9th May 2024 (between 08:30 and 18:00 hours daily). For safety purposes the 104 service will divert via St Nicholas Lane - in both directions.

The following bus stops will not be served (in both directions):

  • Nicholl Road
  • Hemmels

Broadway in Weston-super-Mare will be closed overnight to service 7 between 20:00 and 06:00 from Monday 13th through to Friday 31st May (excluding weekends and Bank Holiday Monday) to facilitate carriageway works.

Service 7 will be diverted via Devonshire Road and the A370 to resume normal route from The Runway bus stop in Haywood Village.

Memorial Road in Hanham will be closed to services 17 and 44 between 07:30 and 16:30 on Wednesday 15th May to facilitate carriageway works.

Service 17 will heading towards Keynsham will operate normal route as far as The Maypole bus stop then divert around the roundabout and back up the High Street to resume normal route at the junction of Whittucks Road.

Service 17 heading towards Southmead Hospital will operate the reverse of the above.

Service 44 will divert as the service 45 along the High Street in both directions.

Ipswich town centre

Monday 6th May 2024

Ipswich Town FC have won their spot in the Premier League and will celebrate with a parade on Monday, 6th May, the bank holiday.

Route diversions

The Ipswich Town FC parade to celebrate promotion to the Premier League will mean several diversions within the town centre, these are detailed below. All diversions will be in place from start of service until 14:00.

First Bus become an official Club Partner on a multi-year agreement, initially running to the end of the 2026/27 season. 

As part of the new partnership, First Bus will also be offering Town fans free Park & Ride travel to and from selected home games from their sites at Martlesham and Copdock.

⚠️ Temporary bus stop - Service X11 ⚠️

When: until Sunday, 26th May 2024

Due to essential works, the Pembrey and Burry Port Rail Station bus stop will be closed until Sunday, 26th May 2024.
