Colchester Road, West Bergholt is closed for roadworks from 07/03/2026 to 08/03/2026.

Due to the location of the road closure - the 53 / 53A will be placed on diversion:

Towards West Bergholt: Normal line of route. All bus stops served.

Towards Colchester: The 53 / 53A will divert via Mumford Road, Donard Drive and Chapel Road before returning to normal line of route.

The following bus stops will not be served:

Fambridge Road, Maldon is closed for roadworks. The permit's end date is: 11 Mar 23:00 BST.

Due to the location of the road closure - the 73 will divert in both directions via Acadia Drive and Washington Road.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

• Upper Plume School
• Washington Road

*Passengers for/from Fambridge Road are advised to board/disembark the 73 at bus stops before/after diversion route:*

The usual Excel stop is closed due to roadworks. Services will be dropping off at Bays 17-20, and will be picking up only at Bay 7.

This is expected to be in place until end of service tomorrow, 5th March.

Due to a road closure on Wangford B1126 road the 99 service will be using the Coast Road in both directions, buses are unable to service Wangford & Reydon.

via the main road (Llanmaes Road) in both directions until further notice.

To Cleland:- Normal route to Coltness Road, continue Coltness rd, North Kilmeny Crescent, Newark Drive,  Innerleithen drive,  North Kilmeny Crescent to normal route.

To Wishaw:- Normal route to North Kilmeny Crescent, continue North Kilmeny Crescent, Innerleithen Drive,  Newark drive,  North Kilmeny Crescent,Coltness Road, continue Coltness Road to normal route.

The temporary bus stop at Hoads Hill has been removed as this was only for the now withdrawn 20 service so it could turn at the roundabout.

The remaining temporary stop is just to the north and utilises an existing hardstand and connected pavement.

Due to an incident on Glenmanor Avenue the X3 service is diverting via Stoneyettes Road both ways.
