Thanks to our partnership with Dorset Council, we're increasing the frequency of Service 2 between Mount Pleasant Park & Ride and Weymouth town centre, making it even easier to travel into town.

As part of wider improvements to the Park & Ride site, including upgraded signage, digital displays and customer facilities, buses will run more frequently during the busiest periods of the year.

Old Heath Road, Colchester is closed for roadworks from 18/06/2026 to 22/06/2026.

*This is a timed road closure: the road will be closed nightly between 19:30hrs and 05:00hrs*

Due to the location of the road closure - the 51 and 53 will be placed on diversion*:

The 51 will divert in both directions via Mersea Road, Abbot's Road and Old Heath Road. The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

Service 28A | Dene Road Cotford St Luke Closure

From Tuesday 16th June until Thursday 2nd July (not weekends), Dene Road Cotford St Luke will be closed between the hours of 1830 and 0730 for resurfacing works.

Buses will be diverted between Collett Road Bus Gate and Baileys Gate, Cotford St Luke.

We will be unable to serve bus stops in Norton Fitzwarren, Allerford Turn, Wey House, Cotford Turn or Aveline Court, Cotford St Luke.

Update 1430-Due to Road Closure extension this diversion will be in force until 17.30

Portishead Carnival will be on between 09.00-13.30 on Saturday 13th June. This will affect services A2,X4 and X5.

Service A2 towards Portishead will run normal route until the Castlewood bus stop in Clevedon where they will divert along Northern Way to the M5. Then take the M5 to Gordano, along The Portbury Hundred onto Wyndham Way and Serbert Way to Sainsburys.

There has been an emergency closure of the A34 at Tittensor, services to divert as follows:

Outbound: After going through Tittensor, Tittensor Road, Meaford Road, normal route.

Inbound: Normal route.
