We’re making some changes to our bus network this spring to help you get where you need to go. 

From Sunday 5 April 2026, we are updating services across the West of England. These changes are designed to improve punctuality and create a more reliable network for our customers. 

 What’s changing? 

• Brand New Services: We’re introducing several new services, including the A2 (Portishead to Bristol Airport) and Service 18, providing new direct links to Southmead Hospital. 

Services X3, X11, X85, X87

Services X3, X11, X85 & X87 affected by congestion caused by traffic lights. 

Delays are expected to be at least 15 minutes.

This is currently ongoing. 

This issue is now resolved.

Services 3, 10, 57 & X8 - Peat Road at Cowglen Road

Due to manhole repairs, services 3, 10, 57 & X8 will be diverted. 

Service 57 towards Silverburn, continuing Peat Road, circling the roundabout and back into Peat Road towards Cowglen. 

Services 3, 10 and X8 from Silverburn. Cowglen Road, Fairchild Avenue & Barrhead Road. 

Services 371, 372 & 373.

Due to closure of Sandford road services will use Tickhill road, Springwell lane, Balby road, resuming service on Greenfield lane. 

This is currently in place for up to 3 days. 
 

Yarmouth Road, Norwich, is now open.

Yarmouth Road - Closure.

Yarmouth Road is closed between School Lane and Harvey Lane. 

Services 14,15,16,17
Services are diverted via Harvey Lane, St Williams Way, straight down to Sainsburys.
15,16, 17s turning right at the lights at Sainsburys to resume normal route from mini roundabout.
To city above in reverse.

Services - 18 & 18a - Botham Street & surrounding roads. 

Botham Street & surrounding roads have been blocked by badly parked cars

Services 18 & 18a will be diverted directly along Upwell Street in both directions.

Until Thursday 19th March (1900-0100) every night. 

Services - 52a, 207 & X3  -  Sutherland Street & Norfolk Bridge.

Sutherland Street & Norfolk Bridge have been closed each night by unannounced Network Rail works.

Services diverted via Attercliffe Road, Newhall Road, Alfred Road (inbound), Brightside Lane & Saville Street in both directions.

Until further notice (2300-0530) each night.

81, 763 & 764 Services - Friday 27th February & Monday 2nd March (0700-1900) for two days UPDATED

Oldfield Terrace will be closed for SCC works.

Services will divert in both directions via Oldfield Road, Oldfield Avenue & Stannington Road in both directions.

18 & 18a Services - 0001 Monday 16th until 2359 Friday 20th February (at all times)

Broughton Lane will be closed in one direction for utility works.

OUTBOUND services towards Hillsborough are unaffected.

INBOUND services from Meadowhall Interchange will divert via Meadowhall Road, M1 J34 North Roundabout, M1 J34 South Roundabout, Shepcote Lane & Greenland Road.
