First Bus Becomes Official Club Partner of Ipswich Town Football Club

First Bus become an official Club Partner on a multi-year agreement, initially running to the end of the 2026/27 season. 

As part of the new partnership, First Bus will also be offering Town fans free Park & Ride travel to and from selected home games from their sites at Martlesham and Copdock. 

Piers Marlow, Managing Director of First Bus East of England, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Ipswich Town, particularly at such an exciting time for the club.

“First Bus has been an important part of the Ipswich and wider Suffolk community for many years. We hope that our partnership with Ipswich Town will allow us to reach a wider audience and encourage more people to choose public transport or park and ride as their preferred method of travel, especially on match days.”

Town’s Commercial Director, Andy Wooldridge, said: "We’re delighted to be able to welcome such a recognisable, national, company in First Bus as our newest Club Partner.

"Given the stadium’s location in the town centre, to be able to partner with First Bus to make it easier for supporters to get to Portman Road brings huge positives for both the Club and the town.

"We thank First Bus for their support and investment into this partnership. We are looking forward to the partnership growing over the coming years.”

The partnership also sees First Bus become a ‘Friend of the Foundation’, supporting the vital work of the Ipswich Town Foundation in the community.
