Castle Way, Southampton. Routes X4 and X5.

Due to road works on Castle Way in Southampton, passengers are advised to use the stops outside West Quay for the duration of these works.

There is currently no end date for these works, please keep checking back for updates. 

When it comes to trips in the Great Scenic Journeys collection, the Land’s End Coaster, from fantastic First Bus always crops up in the conversation among scenic thrill seekers – it’s a particular favourite of many, with its stunning clifftop views over the Atlantic Ocean below as the bus winds it’s way up to Land’s End from Penzance.

From Sunday 2nd June 2024 we are making the following changes to our network in North Essex:

71, 371, 372, X71 – Chelmsford to Colchester via Witham   

From Sunday 2nd June 2024, we are making the following changes to our network across South and Mid Essex:

21, 21A – Canvey to Southend **extended to Shoeburyness & Great Wakering**

Road works will take place in South Street between 17th & 21st June. Both bus stops near the old Police Station will be closed and no temporary stop supplied. Please use alternative stops at Creek Road or Gosport bus Station. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused. These works are out of our control and may change at short notice.

Between the 4th & 10th June Brockhurst Roundabout will be closed for re-surfacing OVERNIGHT between 8pm and 6am. (No weekend work). Services E1 & E2 will divert during these times via Military Road & Grange road in both directions. The stops affected will be Brune Medical Centre and Brockhurst Roundabout. Please use an alternative stop. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused. These road works are out of our control and may change at short notice. Alternative stops are at Brockhurst Road/Eastbourne Avenue or Elson Road/School Road.

Mill Road, Colchester will be closed for roadworks from Wednesday 5th June to Thursday 6th June 2024.

Due to the location of the road closure, the S1, S2, 68 and 81A  services will divert, in both directions, via Mill Road, A134 (via Urbis Romanae), Axial Way and Severalls Lane.
