Services X4  Heading Towards Gunwharf :
 
When you reach the J&J Junction after serving racecourse lane stay in the left hand lane and then stay in the middle lane heading towards IBM Western road follow all the way to Hilsea Roundbout take 3rd exit onto Hilsea roundbout and follow the usual diversion through Stamshaw, Northern parade 

Services X4 Heading Towards Fareham :

Braiswick, Colchester will be closed for overnight roadworks from 22/03/2026 to 23/03/2026. 

*This is a timed road closure: the road will be closed overnight from 20:00hrs to 05:00hrs*

The 53 / 53A services will be unable to serve West Bergholt whilst the road is closed; and will instead terminate / recommence late journeys at North Station, Colchester.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

Due to the road works and causing lateness on service 58 & CR4 we are diverting the service on inward journeys to Yeovil only from Sherborne to Marston Magner then into Yeovil Via Mudford Rd, Unfortunately we will be unable to serve Barton Gardens, Nether Compton, Yeovil Bridge, Pen Mill and bottom of St Micheals.

Towards Hanley:

Normal route to the roundabout at the end of St Johns Road, go all the way around the roundabout and back down St Johns Road, at the end turn left, at the crossroads turn right onto Newpool Road then normal route.

This road closure is weather permitting.

Towards Biddulph:

The 25 / 825 are not serving Nevendon Road, Wickford due to repeated antisocial behaviour. Vehicles have been damaged. To ensure the safety of our staff, passengers and other road users the 25 / 825 will be placed on diversion until further notice.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

• Halls Corner
• Laburnum Avenue
• Park Drive
• Bromfords Drive

We apologise for the disruption to your bus journey due to circumstances beyond our control.

The 21/21A/623/625 Services will not be able to serve Kerland clinic bus stop in Bridgwater due to roadworks/temporary traffic lights.

Salhouse Road has been reopened.

Service 23 toward Heartsease are diverted.

The services toward Heartsease turn into Rider Haggard Rd, then onto Deloney Rd, then right after the shops back on route on Churchman Rd.
 

Due to a police road closure near the High School, Service 24 are diverted toward Sainsburys, at the end of South Hill Rd turn right onto Laundry Lane follow to end and turn left and follow direct to Sainsburys. From Sainsburys, the service 24 will follow the 24A route.

Uannounced road works have now also closed High Greave.

NOW DIVERT between Shiregreen & Chapeltown via Sicey Avenue, Green Lane (past Stagecoach depot) & the Common in both directions.

From Sunday 29th March we will be making changes to some of our Doncaster and Sheffield services. The impacted services will be the 272 Sheffield to Castleton and the 357 Doncaster to Finningley. These changes have been put in place to improve efficiency on route.
