Ring Road, Beeston– Part Roundabout Closure

Towards Middleton; From the Bus Station, Ring Road 
and resuming route from Tommy Wass junction. 

Towards White Rose; From Dewsbury Road, Ring Road/Dewsbury Road and follow to resume route at White Rose 
entrance.

To allow for works on Monday the 8th  of December 2025 Gordon Street will be closed until works are completed.​

During the closure all stops will be observed including the temporary stop Union Street and the following diversions will be in operation:​

Service 398:

Normal route to Renfield Street at Gordon Street, Street, Union Street, Jamaica Street, Midland Street, Oswald Street, Hope Street & the normal route.​

Delays are anticipated due to roads work in Halifax Town Centre.

The 381 service will resume full service from 1159 ex Haverfordwest.

We apologise for any disruption caused.

Due to an incident on Gartlea Road, the following diversion will be in place:

201's heading to EK will operate via Gartlea Road, Hogg Street, Cairnhill Road, Broomknoll Street & the normal route.

201 to Petersburn will operate via Brommknoll Street, Cairnhill Road, Hogg Street right into Gartlea Road & the normal route.

To allow for road works on Wednesday the 10th of December 20:00 until Thursday the 11th of December 06:00 M8 J15 off slips West Bound for Stirling Road and Castle Street will be closed.​

During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:​

Services X3, X85, X87.towards Buchanan Bus Station:

Normal route M8 J15, George Square, Canal Street, Dobbies Loan, North Hanover Street & Killermont Street to Buchanan Bus Station.

[11:57] The 13B service is operating to normal line of route.

[09:46] Downham Road, Ramsden Heath is obstructed. The 13B service will divert in both directions via Hawkswood Road and Crowsheath Lane until further notice. The following bus stops will not be served: Dovedale Close, Oak Road and Crowsheath Lane.

Due to works on Wednesday the 10th of December 20:00until Thursday the 11th of December 06:00 the M80 J1 towards M8 West Bound will be closed.​

During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:​

Express Services X3 X85 X87 -

Normal route to M80 J1, Provan Road, Cumbernauld Road, Alexandra Parade, Castle Street, Cathedral Street & the normal route.​

To allow for road works on Wednesday the 10th of December 20:00 until Thursday the 11th of December 06:00 Stirling Road on slip to M8 East Bound will be closed.​

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation:

Services X3 X85 X87 X11 towards M8:

Normal route to Stirling Road, St James Road, Castle Street to M8 on slip East Bound.​

Due to a broken down vehicle on Latchmere Drive, service 56 will divert via Spen Lane, Butcher Hill and is terminating on Old Oak Drive, Omitting Moor Grange.

*UPDATED*

Latchmere Drive now clear, service 56 is returning to normal route.
