Due to the 10k run in Stubbington, services are diverted as follows:
Somerset Council has been funding a duplicate Service 28 journey from Minehead to Richard Huish College during term time to help with overcrowding. As this was a temporary arrangement, we are making the following changes:
141 & 142 Services - Until further notice
The junction of Wingfield Road / Roughwood Road has been closed by police.
Services diverted via Coach Road / Town Lane / Lapwater Road in both directions.
Whalebone Corner, Langham is closed for roadworks from 15/12/2025 - 18/12/2025.
Due to the location of the road closure, the 694 service will be placed on diversion:
MORNING JOURNEY - *The 625 service will be unable to serve Stratford St Mary*. The following bus stops will not be served: Black Horse, Old Kings Arms and Anchor.
Coopers Hill, Chipping Ongar is closed for roadworks from 15/12/2025 - 17/12/2025.
Due to the location of the road closure, the 620 service will be placed on diversion. *All bus stops between (and including) Long Fields and Hook End will not be served*.
The alternate bus stops to use are: Two Brewers, Ongar and Blackmore House, Hook End.

The Ross Swing Bridge will be closed from 5 January 2026 for full structural refurbishment under the Penzance Sustainable Travel Network project (refurbishment works per Cornwall Council’s public tender notice). During this period, all journeys that would normally run inbound and outbound via Wharf Road, The Quay, crossing Ross Bridge, then via Battery Road and Western Promenade, will be temporarily rerouted.
