Clydeside Expressway Westbound

Due to an incident, services are diverting via Dumbarton Rd.

URGENT UPDATE 17:00 Wednesday 18th February - Due to a serious accident on the A371 between Wells and Shepton Mallet. The 18:20, 19:20 and 20:20 service 174 from Bath and the 18:31 service 174 from Wells will not serve Stratton on the Fosse, Oakhill, Shepton Mallet, Crosscombe, Dinder or Dulcote. Services will return to the diversion route below from  tomorrow morning.

Due to operational difficulties, we currently have the 1A, 3 and 23 off service. We are trying our best to get these back up and running as soon as possible.

Boundary Road

Due to a car blocking Boundary Road, the service is to divert via Maltravers Terrace, Maltravers Road, Manor Lane and Harborough Avenue in both directions.

M621 Inbound Closure

9th – 13th February 

The works at Caister Road depot in Great Yarmouth form part of a further £13.8 million investment, £8.9 million of which is being funded by First Bus, with the remainder funded through a grant from Norfolk County Council’s Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP).

The investment will support the introduction of 10 electric buses, which will operate on Service 8, connecting James Paget University Hospital with Caister via Great Yarmouth town centre. The programme also includes the installation of high-power charging infrastructure at the depot.

Due to works on Townhead Avenue, the following diversion will be in place:

From Parklands, operate via M8, A8 to McNeil Drive.

Service 42 will operate a normal route with a single stop suspension on Whincover Drive. 

Due to works at Whincover Drive, the following diversion will be in place:

Towards Old Farnley:

Ring Road, Whincover Drive, Ring Road Eastbound and arrive at the next available bus stop (PURPLE dot).

All City bound journeys to commence from this stop.

Towards City:

Ring Road Eastbound to resume normal route from the next stop.

Due to an emergency road closure along St Marys Road St Austell, the 24 service will be diverting via the A390 and 19 Trenovissick Road.

Passengers are advised that buses will temporarily be picking up outside Costcutters on Trenovissick Road.
