Great Western Road Westbound Service 6 & 6A

Eastwood Road, Rayleigh is closed for overnight roadworks (20:00 - 05:00) from 27/10/2025 - 08/11/2025.

The road will be closed from 20:00hrs each evening and will re-open from 05:00hrs each morning.

Due to the location of the road closure - 25 and X30 services will be placed on diversion:

Due to works on B3157 Goose Hill (Coast Road), the services will divert via the following:

Portesham Buses, Front Street, B3159, A35, East Road Roundabout, Sea Road South, Crown Roundabout & West Bay Road.

Inbound

High Street 3/10/2025 - 07/10/2025

Due to works on High Street, the X54 will divert as follows:

Outbound

Wareham Road A352, Burton Cross, A352 Dorchester Road, Wool level Crossing, B3071 & Lulworth Cove.

Inbound

Due to Yorkshire Water works including Multi-way signals on B6381 Leeds Road near to J/O Upper Rushton Road, Thornbury.

Delays are likely throughout the day to Service 72, X6, particularly at peak times.
