Rayleigh RunFest returns on Sunday 12th July 2026. 

Rayleigh High Street will be closed to traffic from 06:30hrs to 13:00hrs.

Due to the location of the road closure - the 25 / 27 will be unable to serve Rayleigh town centre whilst the event is in progress:

The 25 will divert in both directions via London Road, Chelmsford Road, A127 and Progress Road.

Witham Carnival returns on Saturday 11th July 2026. 

Bridge Street and Newland Street will be closed to traffic from 13:00hrs to 16:00hrs.

Whilst the event is in progress - the 371 be placed on diversion and will not serve Witham in both directions. The only stops served will be Lynfield Motors.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

Service 7 route diversion affecting all stops in Sutton Lane and Parlaunt Road in both directions.
Monday 27th until Last bus Thursday 30th July.

Due to the closure of Sutton Lane, route 7 towards Slough will divert via:

London road, High Street and Parlaunt Road. Rejoining route at Tamar Way (Humber Way).

Route 7 towards Heathrow will Serve Tamar Road (Humber Way)
Then Divert Via:

Service A4. Temporary Stop Closure. Dover Road, Bath Road, Slough. Towards Heathrow.
Friday 3rd July until Friday 28th August.

Due to road works, the above stop will be closed from the date shown.
Passengers are advised to use the alternative stop located at:

Service X74. Temporary Stop Closure. Salt Hill, Three Tunes, towards High Wycombe.
Overnight closure 1 night Sunday 12th July.

To allow for resurfacing works, from Friday 10th July 08:00 until Monday 13th July 20:00, Old Wood Road and then Calderwood Drive will be closed.

Due to a road closure on Gibraltar Road, the service is diverting:

542 Towards Norton Tower

The services are diverting via Hopwood Lane, Warley Road, and Spring Hall Lane.

542 Towards Halifax Bus Station

Opposite direction of the above direction

High Street, Braithwell, has been closed by unannounced Yorkshire Water works.

Services are diverting via Grange Lane, Stainton Lane (through Stainton village), Raw Lane / Hirst Lane / Cockhill Lane & Edlington double roundabouts in both directions.

Information on CausewayOne suggests all works may complete by 21st July.

Nursery Street is now closed in one direction by unannounced Northern Powergrid works.

OUTBOUND services are diverting via The Wicker, Stanley Street / Spitalfields & Nursery Street.

Inbound services can operate on the normal route.

Service 6. Temporary Stop Closures, Whiteford Road, Northern Road, Slough.
0700 Monday 13th until 1800 Friday 24th July.
