Beatrice Avenue Felixstowe will be closed for Gas Main Works Wednesday 31st July 2024 to Wednesday 14th August 2024. 

On Saturday the 27th of July, Perranporth Carnival will be taking place between the hours of 18:45 and 21:00. This will affect the U1A and U1E service.

Buses will be diverting as follows:

Service U1A/U1E Newquay to Truro

The A120 junctions B1053 and A131/B1256 will be closed from Monday 15th July - Tuesday 23rd July 2024.

Due to the location of the roadworks the X20 service will be placed on diversion:

The A12 slip road, Hatfield Peverel (Junction 20B) towards Colchester will be closed for overnight roadworks from Monday 15th July - Saturday 20th July 2024 (between the hours of 21:00 - 05:00 the next morning).

Due to the location of the road closure, the 71 service will be placed on diversion - 

This diversion will only be enforced on the 20:45 departure from Chelmsford to Colchester.

Queen Elizabeth Way, Colchester will be closed to traffic from Monday 15th July - Monday 22nd July 2024.

Due to the location of the road closure the S8 service will divert, in both directions, via Mersea Road and Stansted Road.

The following stops will not be served (in both directions):

• Talcott Road
• Monkwick Road

Kirk Brae will be closed from 04:00 on 22 July until 17:00 on 04 August. 

Service 15 heading to Countesswells
From Countesswells Avenue: via, Countesswells Road, Kirk Brae and resume normal route.

Service 15B heading to Countesswells
From Countesswells Road: via, Countesswells Road, Kirk Brae and resume normal route.

It doesn’t get more spectacular than a trip down to Cornwall and on the incredible Land’s End Coaster bus from Penzance to St. Ives. What’s more, this adventure couldn’t be easier too, with the train from the Midlands, North and Scotland on Cross Country Trains or from London on Great Western Railway straight into Penzance and onto the bus from outside the railway station!

From the 14th July - 25th August, 18 services will be on diversion due to a closure at Cort Crescent. Please see below for diversion details:

Outbound – From Hinckley Rd via Gooding Ave, Braunstone Ave & Hallam Crescent East, to continue normal route to Terminus.

Inbound – From Terminus as normal, then diverting around Cort Crescent via Woodshawe Rise Roundabout, and head back along Cort Braunstone Ave, Gooding Ave & Hinckley Road to continue normal route towards City Centre.

Link Road will be closed at the junction of Cropston Road for 1 day on July 22nd.

Services will diver from The Nook via Bradgate Road & Hollow Road.
