changes to local fares

As you may know, the UK Government has announced a new £3 flat fare cap in England – which means some of our fares will be changing from 1st January 2025.

We’re also simplifying the way we charge our customers to make it fairer for everyone. You’ll now only be charged for the distance you’ve travelled, meaning single journeys will cost £1.80, £2.50 or £3 depending on the distance.

But don’t worry – you won’t have to figure this out for yourself. By using Tap On, Tap Off, we’ll do the heavy lifting for you by working out the best value fare based on your journey. And no matter how often you travel, you’ll never pay more than the daily or weekly cap!

So whether it’s getting you to work on time, saving you from the car park shuffle, or simply giving you a moment to chill out and people-watch, the bus is still here for you.
