Flexi fare changes from Sunday 29th March 2026
Good news! We're working with Leicester Buses to make bus fares in Leicester simpler and more affordable. From Sunday 29th March 2026 we'll be removing First Bus tickets from sale and moving to Flexi fares only. This means when you buy tickets via the First Bus app or driver, they will be valid on any service in the Leicester Buses network.
Short-hop single tickets will remain available and student flexi prices will be reviewed in September.
If you have purchased a FirstWeek or First4Week ticket ahead of these changes, don't worry, these will remain valid and available to use on First Bus services only until the date of expiry. You will then only be able to purchase a FlexiWeek or Flexi4Week going forward.
