Ipswich Half Marathon (4/65/66/75)

Due to fibre works taking place on Warren Hill in Woodbridge, the road will be closed from Wednesday 26th September to Monday 30th September.

During this time, services 63, 64 & 65 will need to operate directly via Ipswich Road - but will serve stops along here as an alternative for passengers.

Due to the Beccles Soapbox Derby taking place, closing our normal routes through Beccles – our Coastlink X21/X22 services will need to take a diversion route between 06:00 & 18:00 on Sunday 29th September. 

Services from Lowestoft will operate normal route over the rail crossing, but operate via Peddars Lane, Ballygate, New Market & The Walk to access a temporary stop opposite the Old Market Place, joining the normal route here.

Services from Norwich will operate normal route into Beccles, but before the Tesco/Caxton Road stop will operate via Smallgate into the Old Market Place, serving the stops here. They will then operate via The Walk, New Market, Ballygate & Peddars Lane to join normal route.

Please be aware that depending on parked cars & pedestrian activity within the town, we may need to make individual journey alterations in the interests of safety. Please follow our X feed (@FirstYar_Low) for live updates on the day.

Gas works will be taking place along Gertrude Road from Monday 16th September to Friday 4th October, meaning the road will once again be closed.

During this time, services will operate the full length of Mousehole Avenue, then make the left onto Silver Road.

Due to various carriageway improvements taking place on Redwald Road, it will be closed from Monday 9th September to Friday 4th October.

During this time, services will operate directly along Acer Road to the roundabout, returning the same way.

Due to the roundabout construction works taking place on the A154, our Felixstowe Flyers X7 service will need to take a diversion route from Monday 9th September to Sunday 10th November.

This service will need to follow the route of our 75/77s through Walton and into Trimley, before joining the A14 here.

This service will continue to operate non-stop between Felixstowe & Ipswich during these works.

The Street, North Cove will be closed to traffic  from Monday 9th September 2024 to Friday 18th October 2024. 

As a result, services X21 and  X22 in each direction will be unable to serve North Cove. Affected passengers are asked to board and alight at the stop on the main A146 at Barnby Nursery.

We apologise to any customers affected by this road closure.

Due to emergency gas works, Angel Road has been closed at the junction of Rosebery Road until Tuesday 1st October.

Services will omit most of Angel Road - instead they will operate via Waterloo Road, Constitution Hill & Woodcock Road to avoid the closure.

The Street, Little Bealings has been closed for Anglian Water Works until Tuesday 15th October .

Service 59 and 972 School service will therefore be unable to use The Street and will have to divert through Playford Village and then back along Bealings Road and into Holly Road to pick up their line of route by the Village Hall

Gracechurch Street Debenham will be closed from Monday 28th October 2024 to Wednesday 30th October 2024 to allow Anglian Water to repair a sluice valve. 

Service 116 will be diverted via Henry Street, Gardeners Road, Low Road and the High Street, using The Butts to turnaround, in both directions.
