We’re making some changes to our Coastal Reds & Coastal Clipper services from Sunday 26th May 2024.

NEW! Coastal Reds 2|3|3B

Following the opening of the Herring Bridge, we're extending the existing 2 and introducing new services 3/3B to provide new links from Market Gates, through the Barrack Estate to Gorleston, Bradwell, Burgh Castle and the James Paget Hospital. Additionally, both services will operate in both directions through Bradwell - enabling easier local travel on our services. These new services will replace the existing 2, 5, 6, 6A & 6B.

These changes are partially funded by Norfolk County Council under the Government’s Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP), aimed at enhancing public transportation infrastructure.

Coastal Reds 7

This service will see several improvements, including additional afternoon journeys on weekdays, alongside the introduction of a new Saturday service. Additionally, the current 23:20 Norwich to James Paget Hospital journey currently operated by Service X1 will be revised to run as Service 7, providing a later journey along Yarmouth Road in Norwich.

These changes are partially funded by Norfolk County Council under the Government’s Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP), aimed at enhancing public transportation infrastructure.

Coastal Clipper 99|99A

Our service 99 will no longer operate via the Coast Road, with all services instead operating through Norfolk Road in Wangford with minor timetable changes as a result. The existing 06:35 from Lowestoft to Kessingland will now extend through to Southwold from Monday to Saturday. Service 99A will now operate to a more consistent timetable, with more departures throughout the day.
