First Bus is launching its brand-new, enhanced Norwich Park & Ride service, starting on 30th March, with FREE travel offered across all sites on first day.

First Bus is launching its brand-new, enhanced Norwich Park & Ride service, starting on 30th March. Designed to offer a seamless, stress-free journey into the heart of the city, this eco-friendly and cost effective transport solution is perfect for commuters, shoppers, and visitors alike.
Situated across three key locations; Airport Park & Ride, Sprowston Park & Ride, and Thickthorn, the service provides an effortless and affordable way to travel into Norwich. With free, secure parking available at all sites, passengers can on board a modern, fully electric bus and enjoy a smooth ride straight into the city centre.
To celebrate the first day of operation, travel will be FREE from all Park & Ride sites on Sunday 30 March.

Cllr Graham Plant, cabinet member for highways, infrastructure and transport, said: “The Norwich Park & Ride service is an important part of our transport plan for Norfolk and it gives people a great value and greener option forgetting into Norwich. During these difficult financial times, we made it our ambition to find a solution so that this service could be run without any subsidy, and we’ve not only achieved that, but we’re also giving people what they asked for from the service which is earlier and later buses and Sunday services."
To mark the launch, First Bus will be outside The Forum in Norwich on Saturday 22 March from 10 am, showcasing the new services and zero-emission buses.
