Warsash Roan, on Common Lane. Or Oaklands Way, on Warsash Road.

From Monday 11th March, we'll be welcoming our Revenue Protection Officers on board our buses in the Potteries.

Our revenue protection officers will be regularly riding on our bus network to ensure everyone is travelling with a valid/ correctly issued ticket. Any tickets purchased from the driver must be retained throughout the journey, and any tickets on our First Bus App must be valid and ready to show.

Bruff Close, Colchester will be closed for roadworks from Monday 4th March to Saturday 9th March 2024 (between 19:00 and 05:00 on a daily basis).

Due to the location of the road closure, the S1-S2-11-68-81A services will be unable to serve Bruff Close bus stop (in both directions).

The S1-S2-11-68-81A services will pick-up/set-down at the next bus stop in either direction:

A1124 Colchester Road (White Colne) & High Street (Earls Colne) will be closed for carriageway patching from Friday 1st March to Wednesday 6th March 2024 (between the hours of 20:00 and 05:00).

Service 88/A will be permitted through the road closure.

Please note: there might be slight delays to service as the bus will be required to wait for an operative to escort them through the closure.

On International Women’s Day 2024, First Bus is making bold commitments on gender – to double the number of women in the business in the next five years. Furthermore, in line with the FTSE Women Leaders recommendations, First Bus also aims to have 40% of senior leadership roles filled by women by 2028.

Between the 4-11th March Lake Road/Cornmill Street will be closed OVERNIGHT only between 8pm and 6am. Services 3 and 7 will not be able to serve the stop at Cornmill Street towards the City and will divert away from this area via Church Street and Market Way. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused. These works are out of our control and may change at short notice.

We will be making some timetable changes and renumbering some of our services across South Yorkshire to improve punctuality, bringing more links and buses for the community. All Doncaster buses will start with the number 3 to differentiate our cross services and simplify them.
