Major delays in Yarmouth due to road works along Caister Road and Fullers Hill.

We are now experiencing delays.

Update 14:07 - The traffic is now back to normal and we are seeing a reduction in the traffic delays.

Road Closure 27/10/2025 - 02/11/2025

Due to a road closure at Bishops Lydeard, we are unable to serve Hither Mead in both directions.

The 28 service will be picking up and dropping off on Taunton Road in both directions.

The Smart Fares discount travel scheme is continuing 31 March 2026, making bus travel across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire even more affordable.

Thanks to continued government funding through the Bus Service Improvement Plan, Smart Fares will continue to offer great-value travel.

Hopecorner Lane is closed, service 1 will not be serving the bus stop on Hopecorner Lane.

The bus will be diverting via Quantock Road, Kingston Road, Wellsprings Road, Cheddon Road and on to Pyrland.  

Liverpool Road in Newcastle is closed, so the 39 and 39A will not be serving Liverpool Road.

The service will go to the roundabout and turn back to its normal route. 

Due to Bathpool being closed, we are unable to serve Bridgwater Road Aldi.

This will be from 27th October to 2nd November

Buses will be diverting via Milton Hill, Wester Relief Road, Priorswood Road, A538 and Toneway. 

This affects inbound services to Taunton only.

Updated 28/10 - Services 21, 21A have returned to their normal route and will now be serving Bathpool.

ST ANDREW’S ROAD, PAR CLOSURE

29.10.25 - 30.10.25 

07:30 - 17:00

As the road over Par level crossing is closed for most of the day, Service 24 will need to revert to the old route.

Diverting via The St Blazey Road (passing goods yard), Par Inn and under the railway bridge by Par Green. 

We will not be able to serve Par Railway Station bus stops during this closure.

Service 645 can resume its normal route through the area.

A658 Otley Road, south of the junction with Northcote Road.

The road is currently blocked due to a broken-down PCV.

Due to a road traffic collision, we won't be able to serve the terminus.

Buses are diverting via Gleneagles Avenue, Troon Way, and Melton Road onto to normal route. 

There will be service changes to the X5 and X18 from 3 November 2025.
