This ONLY affects the 17:25 X53 departures from Weymouth on Thursday 22nd & Friday 23rd December 2022.
Outbound Journey will be as follows:
On the 4 January 2023 the two bus stops near the junction of Henderson Road and Ferry Road will be closed for up to three week to enable a new crossing to be built. Please use an alternative stop during these works and we are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

From Tuesday 3rd January, a new Monday to Friday timetable will operate to improve the reliability of the services. The new timetables can be viewed here

From Beach Boulevard Roundabout:
• continue to the lights at Links Road
• right onto Links Road
• resume normal service
Bridgwater Road between the Cross HAnds and Nags Head LAne will be closed from 14:30 Monday 19th
UPDATE - 09:00 Thursday 16th February. Willowherb Road works are ahead of schedule and the road will be reopened on Saturday 25th February when service 49 will return to normal route.

Willowherb Road between Acorn Drive and Newland Lane will be closed to service 49 from 07:00 Monday 9th January and will remain fully closed for an estimated eight weeks to facilitate carriageway works.
Service 49 will be diverted via Acorn Drive and Newlands Lane in both directions.
On Tuesday 20 December the bus stop called St Edwards Road on Grange Road will be closed southbound from 19:00 for about two hours. This is to enable Utility works to take place. Please use an alternative stop during these works. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
The government is providing funding to cap single adult bus fares to £2 per journey from January to June 2023.
