Fosse Road North outbound towards New Parks will be closed from Monday 13 February for around 3/4 months for road improvement works to take place.

Services 14,14A will need to divert as follows;

Depart as normal from Haymarket Bus Station, left Belgrave Gate, right Savoy Street, left Mansfield Street, St. Peter's Lane, East Bond Street, left Causeway Lane, left Vaughan Way, St. Nicholas Circle, St. Augustine Road, right Glenfield Road East, right Fosse Road North, left Henley Road then continues normal route. 

There has been an emergency road closure Porthleven Methleigh Bottoms starting the 23rd of January to the 27th of January 2023.

This will affect the U4 service.

Buses will be diverting as follows:

From Penzance

Buses will divert to Helston and then up Penrose Hill into Porthleven. They will then turn at Mill Lane, then back to Helston onto Falmouth.

Between the hours of 0830 & 1015 on Sunday 29 January, there will be restrictions in place along London Road for the 10K Run event. This will cause some disruption to some services within the area. 

Evington Valley Road is due to close over the weekend of 28/29 January.   During the closure service 16 will divert via East Park Road and Gwendolen Road.

Please note that the following bus stops will not be served;

• Chesterfield Road - Shipley Road 
• Chesterfield Road - Kedleston Road 
• Evington Valley Road - Chesterfield Road 
• Evington Valley Road - Gwendolen Road

We are introducing some improvements to our services across Somerset from Monday 30 January 2023. These include new evening buses on routes between Taunton & Wellington on route 22, Taunton & Minehead on route 28, Taunton & Bridgwater on route 21, Taunton & Chard on route 30, and on Taunton town’s route 1. 

There’s never been a better time to ‘Bus It’ in Somerset, with new evening services, and fares capped at just £2 for a single journey in Somerset, and £1 for any single journey in the Taunton town zone.

First West of England has launched a brand new metrobus service, the m4, between Cribbs Causeway and Bristol. The fast and direct modern buses now link The Mall, Bristol Parkway Station and University of the West of England with the city centre.  

Route 3 is unable to serve Hyde Hall bus stop (on Buckhatch Lane) until further notice due to un-gritted roads. Due to the cold weather - the road remains icy and is dangerous to navigate.

Normal service will resume when road is gritted or when warmer weather resumes.

 EMERGENCY NOTICE Service X22

There is an Emergency Closure on Meadow Park, Willand which starts Thursday 19th January until Thursday 26th January. This is for works by South West Water and will affect service X22.

The X22 will be diverting as via Gables Road in both Directions.

The A34 between Yarlet Lane and Redhill roundabout is due to close on Saturday between the hours of 0700 & 1100 to facilitate a wide load travelling from Stafford towards Newcastle.
