Temporary Route Diversion Route 20
Hill Park Road, Thames Drive, and Red Barn Lane.

Monday 29th August, for 1 day only

Due to roadworks at the junction of Thames Drive, route 20 will be diverting via:
Highlands Road and Kiln Road in both directions.

Passengers are advised to use the alternative stops at either the Working Men’s Club on Highlands Road or St Francis on Funtley Hill.
 

Rectory Road, Basildon will be closed for phased roadworks from Monday 22nd July to early September 2024.

Due to the complexity of these roadworks; the B3 and B4 services will be placed on temporary diversions, to reduce delays to overall service. These diversions will likely be revised dependent on the completion of the phased roadworks:

B3

The B3 service will divert, in both directions, via Wickford Avenue and South Mayne. The following bus stops will not be served: 

Trinity Street, Halstead will be closed for overnight roadworks on Thursday 25th July 2024 (from 19:00 to 04:00 the next morning).

Due to the location of the road closure the 88/88A service will terminate and recommence journeys at Halstead High Street bus stops.

The following journeys (towards Halstead) will terminate at Halstead High Street:

South Street, Braintree will be closed from 18:00 on Monday 29th July to 05:00 on Wednesday 31st July 2024.

Due to the location of the road closure the X20 service will be placed on diversion:

Towards Stansted

The X20 service will divert, after serving Braintree Bus Station, via Victoria Street and the B1018 before returning to normal line of route on the A120.
