The closure of Milton Road scheduled tonight, Wednesday 4th October has been cancelled due the works being completed ahead of schedule, with no further closures planned. 

Services 6 & 7 will operate as normal.

The A120, between Marks Farm Roundabout, Braintree and Marks Tey will be closed overnight from Monday 9th October 2023 to Friday 19th January 2024.

The road will be closed between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 - Monday to Friday only.

Service X20 will be permitted through the road closure.

However, please note. there may be slight delays to service as the bus will be required to wait for an operative to escort them through the closure.

The journeys that are likely to experience delays are:

Ilminster Carnival will be taking place on Saturday 7th October form 15.10.

This will affect service 30.

Buses towards Taunton

From Wednesday the 4th of October to Friday the 6th of October between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00, there will be a closure in Penzance affecting the Branwell Roundabout.

This will affect services 17, T1 and U4.

Buses will be diverting as follows:

Our revenue protection team regularly travel on our services to ensure everyone is travelling with a valid, correctly issued ticket. Tickets need to be collected from the driver and retained throughout the journey.

The Queensway Service Road - Victoria Station, Southend-on-Sea will be closed overnight as follows:

• from 19:00 hours on Wednesday 5th October 2023
• to 01:00 hours on Thursday 6th October 2023

The X30 service (in both directions) will be unable to pick-up/drop-off at the bus stop at Victoria Station for the duration of the road closure.

Alternative boarding points are:

Colne Causeway (A134), Colchester will be closed overnight between Tesco and Greenstead Roundabout.

The road closure will be in effect Monday 2nd October - Thursday 5th October 2023 between the hours 20:00 and 05:00 only.

Services 87 and 74B will divert, in both directions, via Clingoe Hill and Knowledge Gateway (entrance to University of Essex); returning to normal line of route at Subway bus stop on Boundary Road.

The following bus stops will not be served (in both directions) for the duration of the road closure:
