Cancelled - Bristol Bus Station Night Closures

24.10.24 - 26.10.24

 Following negotiations with contractors, who are working on our electrification programme, we have been able to minimise the disruption to Bristol Bus Station, which will be open as usual from today. Please note we will now not be closing the station over the following two nights – bus services will operate as normal.

Passengers will be able to board the bus at the new stop in North Cross Street.

Due to disruptions on Burley Road taking place on 7th November between 19:00 - 23:00, services will be diverted.

Services affected: 49,50, 50A

Diversions as follows: 

49 Towards City:
From Bridge Road, Savins Mill Way, Kikstall Road, Willow Road and Burley Road.

49 Towards Bramley:
From Burley Road, Willow Road, Kirkstall Road and Savins Mill Way.

Due to disruptions on Oldfield Lane, services will be diverted overnight, from 23:30 on the 13th of November, until 06:00, 14th November.

Services affected: 42 

Diversions as follows: 

Towards Old Farnley: 
From Tong Road, Cross Lane, Upper Wortley Road and Five Lane End roundabout to resume route.

Towards City: 
From Five Lane End roundabout, Upper Worley Road, Cross Lane and Tong Road.

Due to works on Hope footbridge, double-decker vehicles are currently unable to pass safely.

Services affected: 272

Single-decker vehicles will be used on route 272, until further notice.

One.network suggests the works will be completed by 15th November.
