First Bus in Glasgow has confirmed that an additional journey will operate on four of its NightBus services to help fans get home from watching Scotland’s opening game in the World Cup in pubs and bars across the city.

Scotland’s first match against Haiti in Boston on Sunday 14 June kicks-off at 2:00am UK time.

Pubs and bars are being allowed to stay open up to 30 minutes after a game finishes.

Service 72 | Leeds City Centre

Due to unexplained heavy traffic leaving Leeds City Centre, service 72 to divert via Park Row and Wellington Street.

Service 387, 328 | Yew Green Road

Service 387 reverting back to full normal route as Yew Green Road is open.

Service 328 to operate earlier diversion via normal route to Park Road lights then turn left like 387 route to operate to top of Walpole Road, Dryclough, Blackmoorfoot Road to pick up normal route towards Balmoral, Forster Avenue Dryclough Road, Walpole Road, Yew Green Road, 387 route towards town.

Oldmixon Road, Bleadon will be closed between 09.30-15.30 on Monday 8th June. This will affect service X5.

Service X5 towards Hutton will run normal route as far as the hospital where it will take the exit for Broadway. It will then stay on Broadway and resume normal route at Oldmixon Road.

Service X5 towards Weston-super-Mare will not continue along Oldmixon Road but turn off onto Broadway and follow this road all the way to the hospital where it resume normal route.

As we head into the quieter summer months, there are some changes to our services in Bristol from Sunday 31st May:

Service 77 (Stoke Bishop - Bristol City Centre - Muller Road Top) has now finished for the summer. It will return for the autumn from Sunday 30th August. 

In the meantime, service 5 will continue to link Stoke Bishop/Blackboy Hill, Clifton Down, Clifton Village and the City Centre, and other services Whiteladies Road (1/2/2a/3/4) and Gloucester Road (74/75/76) to/from the City Centre.

Hengrove Promenade(part) will be closed 24/7 from Friday 5th June until Friday 10th July. This will affect services 16,36,37,75,76,515 and m1.

All Services will be using the Lay-by further along Hengrove Promenade outside the Leisure Centre as a bus stop for the duration of this closure.
