To allow for works on Thursday 18th December 22:00 until Friday 19th December 06:00, the

FirstGroup plc has today completed the acquisition of RATP Dev’s sightseeing operations in London and Bath.

Currently operating under the brand Tootbus, the acquisition will strengthen FirstGroup’s presence across London and the south-west of England.

While the operations are primarily a sightseeing business, with a fleet of 63 buses - 42 in London and 21 in Bath - and about 190 employees, they also include the Airdecker service, connecting Bath to Bristol Airport.

Service 49 is running its normal route, but when the service gets to the roadwork area, they are allowed through. It can take 5 -10 minutes before someone comes and moves cones. So it is causing some minor delays.

Due to the closure of Beckett Road, services are diverting via Wheatley Hall Road and Wentworth Road in both directions.

Due to roadworks on East Lane, services are operating directly up and down Princess Avenue in both directions.

Due to disruption on Coltness Scheme, the following diversion is in place:

Service 241 towards Cleland:

Normal route to Coltness Road, Traquair Avenue, North Kilmeny Crescent, Newark Drive, Innerleithen Drive and the normal route.

Service 241 towards Motherwell: 

Normal route to North Kilmeny Crescent, Kilmeny Crescent, Innerleithen Drive, Newark Drive, Coltness Road and the normal route.

Runwell Road has been unexpectantly closed for roadworks. The permit's end date is: 18/12/2025 23:59 GMT. 

This is a directional road closure - and will impact the morning journey ONLY.

• MORNING JOURNEY - The 625 service will be unable to serve The Swans bus stop.
• AFTERNOON JOURNEY - The 625 service will operate to normal line of route. All bus stops served.
