An initiative by Huddersfield Town and First Bus which has helped hundreds of families to experience their first ever live football match has won the club national recognition from the English Football League (EFL).
The Terriers won the EFL Fan Engagement Award for the travel partnership with First Bus, which was created to support access to sports and culture in disadvantaged surrounding areas.
Colchester Road, Chappel is closed for daily roadworks from 11/05/2026 to 22/05/2026.

Due to the location of the road closure - the 88 will divert in both directions via the A12, A120 and B1024.

Maldon Road, Chelmsford is obstructed. All services are diverting in both directions via Church Street and Molrams Lane until further notice. The following bus stops will not be served in both directions: Manor Farm Shop & Molrams Lane
The Colchester Rotary Club 10k returns on Sunday 10th May 2025 (between 10:00am and 13:00am).
There are no road closures - however, there will likely be minor delays to the 56 / 57 / 68A whilst the event is in progress.

INBOUND services diverted via Western Bank, Brookhill roundabout, Broad Lane & Mappin Street.
Due to unannounced roadworks, Greenfield Lane has been closed.

Service to go straight up and back using Balby Road in Both Directions

From Greenfield Lane, left onto Florence Avenue, right onto Mansfield Road, left onto Balby Road, around the flyover, back up Balby Road, resuming normal route at Sandford Road.
A371 Haybridge, Draycott will be closed on 16th May, from 09:30 until 15:00 (estimated). This will affect service 126.
Service will divert in both directions via B3139 to Wedmore, Cheddar Road B3151 to resume normal route at Cheddar. The following bus stops will not able to be served: Church Street, Garden Centre until Haybridge Villa's Haybridge Touring Park.
Please use stops at Union Street, Tweentown or Cemetery instead.
