Services are diverting around Lockwood Road during this time.
Station Road in Backwell will be closed to service X7 between 08:00 and 19:00 on Saturday 28th February to facilitate carriageway works.
Service X7 will be diverted via Clevedon Road to resume normal route in Trendlewood Way in Nailsea in both directions.
Regretfully all bus stops between and including Flax Bourton layby on the A370 and Nailsea and Backwell Station will not be served in either direction and passengers are advised to board or alight at either Cambridge Batch on Weston Road or the Avening Close bus stops on Trendlewood Way.

From Sunday 5 April 2026, we are updating services across the West of England. These changes are designed to improve punctuality and create a more reliable network for our customers.
What’s changing?

Brand New Services: We’re introducing several new services, including the A2 (Portishead to Bristol Airport) and Service 18, providing new direct links to Southmead Hospital.
Services X3, X11, X85, X87
Services X3, X11, X85 & X87 affected by congestion caused by traffic lights.
Delays are expected to be at least 15 minutes.
This is currently ongoing.
