The 17:10 Chelmsford -> Colchester 19:00 will depart from Cathedral bus stop.
Colchester Road, Chappel is closed for overnight roadworks from 30/04/2026 to 02/05/2026.

Due to the location of the road closure - the 88 and 88A will divert in both directions via the A12, A120 and B1024.

The Folley, Layer-de-la-Haye is closed for roadworks. The permit's end date is 13 May 23:59 BST.
Due to the location of the road closure - The 56 will travel around Layer-de-la-Haye in the opposite direction to normal line of route - via High Road, Malting Green Road, Hawfinch Road and Old Forge Road - All bus stops served - minor delays likely.

Due to works, the following diversion is in place:
Service 1 To The Hard
East Street, Bedminster will be closed between 0700-1900 on Saturday 2nd May 2026 for the Eat Event.
Services 24,44, 75 76 and m1 (towards the City Centre): from the end of West Street will divert via Sheene Road, serving the Wesley Street bus stop by the car wash, then turn left onto Malago Road and via Dalby Avenue before rejoining the normal route at Bedminster Parade.
Service 74 from Hengrove towards the City Centre will turn right onto Malago Road after the railway bridge and resume normal route from Bedminster Parade.
