Chapel Road, Brightlingsea is closed for roadworks from 27/04/2026 to 29/04/2026.
Due to the location of the road closure - The 87 will be placed on diversion:
Towards Colchester: Normal line of route. All bus stops served.
Gate House Lane is currently closed for works on the railway crossings.
Services are diverting outbound as follows.
Diverting via Hayfield Lane roundabout, Hayfield Lane, Hurst Lane, Mosham Road.
Inbound is the reverse of the above.
