From 27 August, we're making changes to some of our services. Please see below a summary and the new timetables can be viewed here

Services 14,14A

The Monday-Friday daytime combined frequency of every 6 minutes returns. To help keep buses run on time we have made some changes to the evening journeys with some journeys now departing earlier than usual.

Monday to Friday evening journeys from City Centre towards Beaumont Leys/Kirby Frith

14A: 1945 journey will now depart at 1935

14: 2015 journey will now depart at 2005

14A: 2045 journey will now depart at 2040

14: 2115 journey will now depart at 2110

Monday to Friday evening journeys from Beaumont Leys/Kirby Frith towards City Centre

14A: 2013 journey will now depart at 2004

14: 2043 journey will now depart at 2035

14A: 2113 journey will now depart at 2109

Saturday evening journeys from City Centre towards Beaumont Leys/Kirby Frith

14A: 1845 journey will now depart at 1830

Sunday evening journeys from Beaumont Leys/Kirby Frith towards City Centre

Service 18

The timetable returns to the the 'pre-holiday' timetable with buses running every 20 minutes during the main day Monday -Friday.

Services 38,38A

A new timetable across the whole week has been introduced to help keep buses run on time. This will provide a frequency of up to every 5 minutes along Uppingham Road alongside Arriva Midlands service 37, Monday to Saturday and up to every 15 minutes on Sundays.

Service 74

The timetable returns to the the 'pre-holiday' timetable with buses running every 20 minutes during the main day Monday -Friday.

Services 88,88A,88E

The Monday-Friday daytime combined frequency of every 6 minutes returns. Following a review into the evening journeys and usage, there will now be 88E journeys operating in place of the 88 & 88A journeys with some adjustments to the times to help keep buses run on time. Please check the timetable before you travel.

Service 15 - London Road

From 20:45 on 6 July, services will divert as below:

Outbound - From Charles St, services will operate via St. Georges Way, Swain Street, St. Peters Rd, East Park Rd then towards Goodwood via normal route.

Inbound - From East Park Rd, service will operate via St. Peters Rd, Swain Street, St. Georges Way & Charles Street, dropping passengers off as normal on Charles Street.

Service 54 - Beaumont Leys Lane

Beaumont Leys Lane will be closed outbound from 17th June for 2 weeks.

Service will divert from Abbey Park Road via Blackbird Rd, Parker Drive & Beaumont Leys Lane.

Service 26 - Loughborough Road closure

Due to major gas works along Loughborough Road from Monday 3 June, service 26 heading towards the City Centre will need to divert for up to 6 weeks.

Normal route to Thurcaston Road right Abbey Lane, left Abbey Park Road then back to normal route from Belgrave Circle.

Please note that the following bus stops will not be served.

Talbot Street
Bath Street
Victoria Road North
Shirley Street
Shaftesbury Avenue
Ellis Avenue

Customers are advised to board buses towards the City centre along Melton Road.

From Sunday 14th July, we’re making changes to the following services for the duration of the Leicester School Summer Holidays.

The school holiday runs from 14 July until 25 August 2024.

Services 14 & 14A

Buses will operate every 7/8 minutes between the City Centre and Aikman Avenue during the day Mondays to Fridays. There are no changes to the Saturday or Sunday timetables.

Service 15

A new timetable across the entire week will be introduced to help keep buses to run on time.

Service 16

There are no timing or frequency changes to the timetable. However, on journeys that serve Goodwood the timing point bus stop listed on the timetable will now be the “Greenacre Drive” stop on Ambassador Road rather than the “Gamel Road” bus stop on Goodwood Road.

Service 74

Buses will operate every 30 minutes during the day Mondays to Fridays. There are no changes to the Saturday or Sunday timetables.

Services 88 & 88A

Buses will operate every 7/8 minutes between the City Centre and Saffron Lane during the day Mondays to Fridays. There are no changes to the Saturday or Sunday timetables.
