Service 88, 88A, 88E - Saffron Lane Closure

The top end of Saffron Lane towards Eyres Monsell is due to close on Sunday 12 March.  During the closure services 88, 88A, 88E will need to divert as follows;

Normal route to Welford Road, then buses will continue along Welford Road, right Knighton Lane East, left Saffron Lane then back to normal route. 

Please note that the following bus stops will not be served

  • Freemen's Common
  • Hawkins Road
  • Lothair Road 

Journeys towards the City Centre will operate as normal.
