Catch a ride with First Bus!
From the 29th of June till 13th of August, we will be operating two services to and from M&D's Scotland's Theme Park.
An express service - Service X7, will operate from Buchanan Bus Station straight to M&D's, in approximately 20 minutes. Board at Stance 17 at Buchanan Bus Station.
A local service - Service 247, will operate from Hamilton Bus Station, via Motherwell and Bellshill to M&D's. Board at Stance 14 at Hamilton Bus Station.
Service X7 - Express Service
Departing from Buchanan Bus Station straight to M&D's Scotland's Theme Park, get there in only 20 minutes!

Your X7 ticket includes £4 off a Theme Park wristband or Devil's Island Adventure Golf!
Tickets for the X7 can be bought on any First Glasgow service, and cover your journey to Buchanan Bus Station, and your journey on the X7. This is available On Bus and on the App.
No other First Bus tickets are valid on this service. Concession cards are not accepted on the X7 service.
Service 247 - Local service
Departing from Hamilton Bus Station, operating via Motherwell and Bellshill to M&D's Scotland's Theme Park.
Operating from 09:20-18:50 daily, please see here for timetable and here for route map.
Any First Bus tickets are valid on this service, including concession cards. Common ticket options for days out include Two Trip 24hr, FirstDay or simply Tap On, Tap Off.
Ways to pay
Looking for the easiest way to pay when travelling with us?
Tap On, Tap Off on Service 247 - Simply 'Tap On' with your card or mobile phone with the driver as you board, and 'Tap Off' as you exit! We'll calculate your fare based on the distance you travel. The more you travel, the more you save!

We advise customers to plan ahead and allow plenty of time to travel. Simplify your travel to M&D's and plan your journey using the First Bus App, where you can track your bus live, buy tickets and view timetables.

*This ticket permits all day travel on First Bus services, including X7 travel. Service 500 and Night Bus services are not valid with this ticket.
1. On board the X7, an additional ticket will be printed for your £4 off a Theme Park wristband or Devil's Island Adventure Golf at M&D's.
2. Service X7 on route towards M&D's will depart from Buchanan Bus Station and head straight to M&D's, making no additional stops on the way.
3. Only the tickets issued for the X7 will permit you to travel on the service, other First Bus ticket types will not be accepted on this special service i.e FirstDay, FirstWeek, First4Week. Concession cards are not accepted on Service X7.
