Due to vehicle issues, services are currently diverting from Scaraway Street.

Services are diverted via: Ashgill Road, Colston Road to the roundabout and back.

Waterloo Street/Newton Street. M8 on slip closures. Service 500.

To allow for Motorway works on Wednesday 19th February until Monday 24th February M8 J19-21 West Bound & Waterloo Street & Newton Street on slips to M8 will close between 20:00 and 06:00 each night.

During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:

Service 500 towards Glasgow Airport:

Normal route: St Vincent Street at Renfield Street left Renfield Street, Union Street, Jamaica Street, Glasgow Bridge, Bridge Street, right Nelson Street, Morrison Street, Paisley Road, Paisley Road West, 2nd exit at roundabout onto Helen Street left M8 westbound on slip, M8 normal route.
 

To allow for resurfacing works on Saturday 22nd February until Sunday 23rd February Motherwell Road towards Motherwell will be closed.

During the closure, the following diversion will be in operation:

Services 201, 240 & N240 towards Motherwell.

Normal route to Motherwell Road at Crossgates, Motherwell Road, right John Street, continue Thorn Road, right Main Street, 3rd exit at roundabout continue Main Street, 2nd exit continue Main Street, 2nd exit at roundabout onto Calder Road, 2nd exit at roundabout continue Calder Road, left Bellshill Road normal route
 

To allow for Motorway works on Monday 17th February until Wednesday 5th March, M80 J1 towards M8 J13 will be closed weekdays only from 20:00 until 06:00 each night (no work carried out on weekends)

Services X3 X85 X87 towards City

Normal route M80 and exit J1, then 2nd exit at roundabout and taking M8 J13 on slip East Bound, next exit at J12, right Cumbernauld Road and return M8 West Bound to rejoin M8 normal route.

Service Disruption

Due to major roadworks on Gateside Street, Hamilton, from Monday 13th January for 9 weeks, disruption is expected on Services 226 & 229 and some bus stops will be closed.

Passengers are advised to plan their journey in advance.

Hope Street Bus Stop Closures
 

From Monday 6th January for approximately 8 weeks, Hope Street will be reduced to one lane between West George Street and West Regent Street. 
 

The following bus stops will be closed:

• West Regent Lane (before)
  Stop code: 609012
  Services that used this stop: 6, 6A, 7, 7A, 75
   
• West Regent Street (before)

  Services that used this stop: 3, 4, 4A, 9, 9A, 18, X8

Passengers are directed to use the next alternative stops: 

• Services 3, 4, 4A, 18: use Bath Street
   
• Services 6, 6a: use Hope St at Theatre Royal
   
• Services 7, 7A, 75: use Hope St at Savoy Centre
   
• Services 60, 60a, 61: use Hope St at Watt Brothers
   
• Services 9, 9A, X8 ONLY: Use the first bus stop at Watt Brothers to drop off/pick up.

Services 60 60A 61 & M3 Phoenix Road To allow for works, on Saturday 22nd July until August 2025

Phoenix Road will fully close.

Service M3 towards Milton Will divert Garscube Road.
