Hope Street Bus Stop Closures
 

From Monday 6th January for approximately 8 weeks, Hope Street will be reduced to one lane between West George Street and West Regent Street. 
 

The following bus stops will be closed: 
 

• St Vincent Street (after)
  Stop code: 609010
  Services that used this stop: 60, 60a, 61 
   
• West Regent Lane (before)
  Stop code: 609012
  Services that used this stop: 6, 6A, 7, 7A, 75
   
• West Regent Street (before)
  Stop code: 609013
  Services that used this stop: 3, 4, 4A, 9, 9A, 18, X8

Passengers are directed to use the next alternative stops: 

• Services 3, 4, 4A, 18: use Bath Street
   
• Services 6, 6a: use Hope St at Theatre Royal
   
• Services 7, 7A, 75: use Hope St at Savoy Centre
   
• Services 60, 60a, 61: use Hope St at Watt Brothers
   
• Services 9, 9A, X8 ONLY: Use the first bus stop at Watt Brothers to drop off/pick up.

To allow for resurfacing works, Annsfield Road will be closed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:

Service 226 & N267, towards Meikle Earnock Road:
Normal route to Low Waters Road at roundabout, turning via Mill Road, Millgate Road, Neilsland Square and Neilsland Road to resume normal route. 

Service 226 towards Hamilton:
Normal route to Meikle Earnock Road then via Neilsland Road, Neilsland Square, Millgate Road, Mill Road, Low Waters Road to resume normal route. 
 

Annsfield Road. Services 226 & N267.

To allow for resurfacing works on Tuesday 7th January until Friday 17th January Annsfield Road will be closed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:

Services 226 & N267 towards Meikle Earnock Road.

Normal route Strathaven Road at Graham Avenue, right Graham Avenue follow road onto Meikle Earnock Road normal route.

Service 226 towards Hamilton.

Normal route Meikle Earnock Road at Annfield Road, left continue Meikle Earnock Road right Graham Avenue left Strathaven Road normal route.

Springburn link Road/Baird Street towards Springburn Road, Service 87, 88, 88A, 88C, 89, 89A, 89B, 90.

To allow for Gas Works on Monday 6th January 09:00 until Sunday 2nd February 17:00 the Springburn link Road from Baird Street towards Springburn will be closed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:

Services 87/88/88A/88C/89/89A/89B, from Buchanan Bus Station towards Springburn Road.

From Killermont Street, right North Hanover Street, left Cathedral Street, veer left Stirling Road continue onto Springburn Expressway normal route.

Service 90 towards Partick.

Normal route Alexandra Parade continue straight onto Castle Street take outside lane and turn right follow signs for Townhead A803 continue onto Springburn Expressway normal route.

High Street Kirkintilloch, Services 88C, 89, 89B, X85, X87.

To allow for BT repair works on Wednesday 8th January 06:00 until Friday 10th January 18:00 High Street Kirkintilloch will be closed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:

Services 88C/89/89B towards Kilsyth.

Normal route New Lairdsland Road at EastSide continue New Lairdsland Road, right Glasgow Road, right Ledgate, left Eastside normal route.

Services 88C/89/89B towards Buchanan Bus Station.

Normal route Kilsyth Road at Eastside roundabout take 2nd exit continue Kilsyth Road, Glasgow Road, left New lairdsland Road normal route.

Service X85 towards Buchanan Bus Station.

Normal route Milton Road at Glasgow Road right Glasgow Road left New Lairdsland Road normal route.

Service X87 towards Waterside.

Normal route Glasgow Road at New Lairdsland Road, continue Glasgow Road, right Ledgate, left Eastside normal route.

Service X87 towards Buchanan Bus Station.

Normal route Hillhead Road at Eastside roundabout and take 3rd exit onto Eastside 1st exit at roundabout onto Kilsyth Road continue Glasgow Road, left New Lairdsland Road normal route.

Mill Road Cambuslang, Service 65

To allow for resurfacing works on Friday 10th January Mill Road will be closed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:

Service 65 towards Cambuslang terminus.

Normal route to 1st stop on Mill Road and terminate.

Service 65 towards Osborne Street.

1st right onto Overton Road, right New Road just after Mill Road, right Hamilton Road normal route.

Bankhead Road, Service 7A.

To allow for gas works on Monday 6th January until Sunday 2nd February Bankhead Road will close.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:

Service 7A towards Rutherglen/Westburn.

Normal route Kings Park Avenue at Bankhead Road continue Kings Park Avenue, left Mill Street normal route.

Service 7A towards City Centre.

Normal route Mill Street at Bankhead Road continue Mill Street, right Kings Park Avenue normal route.

McNeil Drive Maxim, Services 202 & 242.

To allow for Resurfacing on Wednesday 8th January until Friday 10th December Mcneil Drive will be closed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:

Services 202 & 242 towards Maxim Park.

Normal route McNeil Drive, then 1st exit at roundabout onto Coddington Crescent, right Brittain Way, 3rd exit at roundabout Townhead Avenue, 2nd exit at roundabout Townhead Avenue normal route.

Services 202 & 242 from Maxim Park.

Normal route Townhead Avenue at McNeil Drive and take 2nd exit continue onto Townhead Avenue, 1st exit at roundabout onto Brittain Way, left Coddington Crescent, 3rd exit at roundabout onto McNeil Drive normal route

Hope Street Bus Stop Closures

From Monday 6th January for approximately 8 weeks, Hope Street will be reduced to one lane between West George Street and West Regent Street and the following bus stops will be closed.

Passengers will be directed to the next alternative stop.

Services 9, 9A, X8 ONLY – Use the first bus stop at Watt Brothers to drop off/pick up. SPT will install a temporary flag on Monday 6th January.
