226, 229 - Gateside Street

Due to a road traffic collision on Crow Rd Southbound, the service is diverting and experiencing delays.

Diverting via Great Western Rd, Hyndland Rd, Byres Rd, Church St, Dumbarton Rd.

Paisley Road at the Quay is closed in both directions.

Tuesday 14th January between 20:00 until 05:00.

Wednesday 15th January 23:30 until 05:00 and

Thursday 16th January 20:00 until 05:00.

During the closure, all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:

Services 9, 9A,10 from City.                                                                                     

The service is diverting via Nelson Street at Tradeston Street, Tradeston Street, West Street, Scotland Street, Seaward Street, and Paisley Road West. 

Service 9, 9A, 10 towards City.

The service is diverting via Paisley Road West at Seaward Street, Seaward Street, Scotland Street, West Street, Kingston Street.

Due to a road traffic collision on Balshagrey Ave, when departing Broomhill Terminus, divert via Crow Rd, Great Western Road, Anniesland Rd, Great Western Road, and Crow Rd.

To allow for Emergency works on Tuesday 14th January Pollokshaws Road at Shawlands Cross will be closed today at 14:30 until works are completed.

During the closure, all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:

Services 57 & 57A towards Thornliebank.

Diverting via Pollokshaws Road at Shawlands Cross, Kilmarnock Road, Kilmarnock Road, Thornliebank Diversion route.

Services 57 & 57A towards Shawlands Cross.

Diverting via Thornliebank Diversion route, Kilmarnock Road, Kilmarnock Road Pollokshaws Road.

Due to an incident in the turning circle, service is to divert as follows:

Normal route Varnsdorf Way, at Minch Way continuing Varnsdorf Way, left Petersburn Rd, left Minch Way.

Due to an ongoing road closure at South Hallhill Road, services are diverted via the following routes:

Services 60 & 60A (Towards Easterhouse): Via Baillieston Road, Barrachnie Road, Edinburgh Road, Wellhouse Road onto normal routing.

Services 60 & 60A (Towards City): Via Wellhouse Road, Edinburgh Road, Barrachnie Road, Baillieston Road onto normal routing.

Service 46 (to Easterhouse): Via Old Shettleston Road, South Hallhill Road, Shettleston Road, Baillieston Road, continue Barrachnie Road, Edinburgh Road, Hallhill Road, Budhill Avenue onto normal routing.

Service 46 (to Castlemilk): Via Hallhill Road, Edinburgh Road, Barrachnie Road, Baillieston Road, Shettleston Road onto normal routing.

This is now open and services are operating as normal.

Service Disruption

Due to major roadworks on Gateside Street, Hamilton, from Monday 13th January for 9 weeks, disruption is expected on Services 226 & 229 and some bus stops will be closed.

Passengers are advised to plan their journey in advance.

George Square South/Queen Street temp lights.

Bus stop 609073 closure.

To allow for Road Works on Saturday 11th January until Monday 13th January temp lights will be in place at George Square South/Queen Street and bus stop 609073 will not be in use.

Affected services 41, 240, 255, 263, 267.

Please use bus stop 609075 St Vincent Place.

Main Street Shotts.

To allow for road works on Tuesday 14th January Main Street Shotts will be closed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:

Service 266 towards Shotts.

Normal route Allanton Road at Burnbrae Road, left Burnbrae Road normal route.

Service 266 towards Newmains.

Normal route Burnbrae Road at Main Street continue Burnbrae Road, right Allanton Road normal route.

To allow for resurfacing works, Parkhouse Road will be closed

12th January until 15th January between 09:00 and 16:00 each day.

Services affected: 57.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:

Service 57 towards Silverburn:

From Nitshill Road at Parkhouse Road continue Nitshill Road to then resume the normal route.

Service 57 towards Shawlands:

From Nitshill Road at Wiltonburn Road continue Nitshill Road to then resume the normal route.
