Great Scottish Run 2023: Glasgow City Centre
On Sunday 1 October from early AM until late afternoon, a number of streets in Glasgow City Centre will be closed for the Great Scottish Run. As a result, our services will be following diversions.
Our teams are working hard to ensure we can keep people connected. We have endeavoured to work around the closures to the best of our ability.
Several bus stops in the city centre will be closed as a result of the run. The nearest alternative stops are:
Service 2 towards Baillieston - Renfrew Street/Glasgow Cross, Oswald Street.
Service 2 towards Faifley - Renfrew Street/ Glasgow Cross, Oswald Street.
Service 3 towards Govan/Drumchapel - Renfrew Street/ Eglinton Street south of Wallace Street, Bath Street.
Service 4/A - Broomhill/ Clarkston - Bath Street. Renfrew Street/ Eglinton Street south of Wallace Street.
Service 5 - Castlemilk - Lauriston Road.
Service 6 Clydebank/ East Kilbride - Hope Street opposite Theatre Royal/ Renfrew Street/ Eglinton Street south of Wallace Street.
Service 6A towards Drumchapel - Hope Street opposite Theatre Royal
Service 7/A, 75 towards Rutherglen - Hope Street/ Renfrew Street/ Eglinton Street south of Wallace Street.
Service 9/A - Buchanan Bus Station/ Cardonald - Jura Street/ Buchanan Bus Station
Service 10 - City Centre/ Silverburn - Jura Street/ Cathedral Bridge.

Reminder: On Saturday 30th September between 05:00hrs and 16:30hrs (or earlier depending on finishing times) a number of streets in Glasgow City Centre will be closed for the Great Scottish Run. Some streets will remain closed all day on Saturday 30th September, and so our services will be following diversions. Click here for full details.
