Great Scottish Run 2023: Glasgow City Centre 

On Saturday 30th September between 05:00hrs and 16:30hrs (or earlier depending on finishing times) a number of streets in Glasgow City Centre will be closed for the Great Scottish Run. Some streets will remain closed all day on Saturday 30th September, and so our services will be following diversions.

Our teams are working hard to ensure we can keep people connected. We have endeavoured to work around the closures to the best of our ability.

Several bus stops in the city centre will be closed as a result of the run. The nearest alternative stops are:

Service 2 towards Baillieston - Union Street/ Gallowgate

Service 2 towards Faifley - Stockwell Place 

Service 6 towards Clydebank - Stockwell Place/ Hope street 

Service 6 towards East Kilbride - Union Street/ Stockwell Street 

Service 6A towards Anniesland - Hope Street opposite Theatre Royal 

Service 7/A towards Rutherglen - Union Street/ Stockwell Street 

Service 18 towards the City Centre/ East Kilbride - High Street/ Glasgow Cross 

Service 21 towards Gardenhall/Catkin - Union Street/ Stockwell Street 

Service 41 towards the City Centre - John Knox Street 

Service 41 towards Easterhouse - Cathedral Street/ John Knox Street 

Service 60, 60/A, 61 towards Maryhill - Stockwell Street 

Service 64 towards Carmyle - Osborne Street 

Service 75 towards Castlemilk - Union Street/ Stockwell Street 

Service 240, 255, 263 towards Buchanan Bus Station/ Glasgow Cross - High Street/ Union Street 

Service 267 towards Buchanan Bus Station - Stockwell Place 

Service 500 towards Glasgow Airport - Buchanan Bus Station/ St. Vincent Street
