Rayleigh Christmas Lights Switch-On returns on Thursday 28th November 2024. 

Rayleigh High Street will be closed to traffic, for the majority of the day.

Due to the location of the road closure, the 3, 20 and 25 services will be placed on diversion:

Service 3 will divert, in both directions, away from High Street, Websters Way and Eastwood Road (A1015). The following bus stops will not be served:

  • Rayleigh High Street
  • Bull Lane
  • Websters Way
  • Eastwood Road

Towards Hullbridge: Service 20 will operate to normal line of route - all bus stops served.

Towards Southend-on-Sea: Service 20 will divert via the A129, Eastwood Road (A1015) and Trinity Road. The following bus stops will not be served:

  • Rayleigh High Street
  • Bull Lane
  • Parklands Avenue
  • Jubilee Road

Towards Basildon: Service 25 will operate to normal line of route - all bus stops served.

Towards Southend-on-Sea: Service 25 will divert via the A129 and Eastwood Road (A1015). The following bus stops will not be served:

  • Rayleigh High Street
  • Bull Lane
  • Websters Way

To board/disembark the 25 service close to Rayleigh High Street - Service 25 will pick-up/drop-off at Eastwood Road bus stop (towards Southend-on-Sea).
