Canvey Island Christmas Light Switch On returns on Friday 30th November 2024. 

Furtherwick Road, Canvey Island will be closed to traffic from 07:00hrs to 21:00hrs.

Due to the location of the road closure, the 21, 22 and 27 services will be placed on diversion:

Towards Great Wakering: Service 21 will operate to normal line of route - all bus stops served.

Towards Canvey Island: Service 21 will divert via Eastern Esplanade, Seaview Road, High Street and Mitchells Avenue. The following bus stop will not be served:

• Grafton Road
• Parkway
• Oyster Fleet
• Mornington Road
• Harrow Road
• Playing Fields
• Whernside Avenue
• Essex Road

Towards Southend-on-Sea: Service 27 will operate to normal line of route - all bus stops served.

Towards Canvey Island: Service 27 will divert via Furtherwick Road, Eastern Esplanade and Seaview Road. The following bus stop will not be served:

• Maurice Road
• Baardwyck Avenue

Church Street, Great Baddow is closed for roadworks from Thursday 28th November to Wednesday 4th December 2024.

Due to the location of the road closure the C6 service will be placed on diversion:

Towards Great Baddow, BAE Systems: Service C6 will operate to normal line of route - all bus stops served.

Towards Chelmsford: Service C6 will divert, after serving BAE Systems, via Maltings Road, Park View Crescent and Vicarage Lane. The following bus stops will not be served:

• Mercia Close
• The Bringey
• Great Baddow Church

Shotgate Christmas Tree Light-Up returns on Sunday 1st December 2024. 

Southend Road, Shotgate will be closed to traffic from 15:30hrs to 18:00hrs.

Due to the location of the road closure, the 25 service will divert, in both directions, via London Road (A129).

The following bus stop will not be served in both directions:

• Shotgate Post Office

Rayleigh Christmas Lights Switch-On returns on Thursday 28th November 2024. 

Rayleigh High Street will be closed to traffic, for the majority of the day.

Due to the location of the road closure, the 25 service (towards Southend-on-Sea only) will divert via the A129 and Eastwood Road (A1015).

The following bus stops will not be served:

• Rayleigh High Street
• Bull Lane
• Websters Way

To board/disembark the 25 service close to Rayleigh High Street - Service 25 will pick-up/drop-off at Eastwood Road bus stop (towards Southend-on-Sea).

Harlow Bus Station will be closing on Saturday 30th November 2024 due to the next step in the redevelopment of Harlow Town Centre.

From Sunday 1st December 2024, a temporary bus station will be opened at Post Office Road car park.

Light Up Maldon returns on Thursday 28th November 2024. 

High Street, Maldon will be closed to traffic from 14:30hrs to 22:30hrs.

Due to the location of the road closure, the 31, 331, 332 and 73 services will be placed on diversion:

Services 31, 331 and 332 will divert in both directions via Fambridge Road and Cross Road.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

• All Saints Church (towards Burnham-on-Crouch)
• The White Horse (towards Chelmsford)

• Prom Gates
• Lower Plume School

Service 73

Service 73 (to/from Cherry Gardens) will divert in both directions via Fullbridge, Maldon Bypass (A414) and Spital Road.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

• All Saints Church (towards Burnham-on-Crouch)
• The White Horse (towards Chelmsford)
• Upper Plume School
• Washington Road
• Fambridge Road
• Essex Road

Alderney Gardens, Wickford will be closed for roadworks on Monday 2nd December 2024 from 09:00hrs - 15:00hrs.

The 13, 13A and 13B services will be diverted along Brock Hill and Swan Lane.

The 13, 13A and 13B services will be permitted through the road closure.

Newland Street, Witham will be closed to traffic from 13:00hrs to 20:00hrs.

Due to the location of the road closure, the 71 and 371 services will divert, in both directions, via Collingwood Road (B1018), Chipping Hill/Powers Hall End, Spa Road/Highfields Road and Spinks Lane and Hatfield Road. 

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

• Newland Street
• Mill Lane
